How Religious People Think The Burden Of Proof Works by LordReed(m): 6:20pm On Dec 28, 2018
Three men, a scientist, a magician, and a Christian, are on a stage in front of a large audience. The scientist announces, “I can fly! Watch me!” And he proceeds to strap on a jetpack and fly. The magician says, “I too can fly. Behold!” And he begins to levitate on invisible strings. Finally, the Christian steps forward and proclaims, “I can also fly. Now prove that I can’t.”

Scientists, Magician, Christians not in thesame category.
Why not students, Christians and people who learn magic tricks?

Please which religion is that religion that allows it's adherents to fly for the sake of flying to entertain and partake of vain argument?

Your problem is you want miracle to happen in slow motion in your front. I am sure if God had made it that way you doubting Thomases will still say it is a prearranged magical act.

CHRISTIAN: BELIEVE I CAN FLY BECAUSE BIBLE SAYS SO..... OR BURN IN HELL.

ALSO CHRISTIAN: YOU DON'T SEE THAT I'M FLYING BECAUSE YOUR FAITH IS INSUFFICIENT.

CHRISTIAN : god has already provided healing and miracles for his children.

ME : how come they are still dying from cancer and HIV?

CHRISTIAN : god has provided but it's left for them to receive it by faith.

10 people prayed to God to be saved and only 1 person survived the accident, why didn't God save the other 9 people?

RELIGIOUS PEOPLE: (1) it's their time to die. (2) their faith is not strong enough.

When someone provide or gives you something, don't you normally receive it? They is nothing irrational or funny in what you posted. It is simply the truth.

What Jesus did for us is not authomatic but must be activated in our lives through believing.

Why? If I pay money into your account do you need faith to spend it?

If I don't know that you paid money into my account and actually believe that you did, will the money profit me? Though the money is now in my account. But if I don't know and believe that it is, I will perish in lack and poverty.

No. But there is two types of knowing.
What do I mean? If someone walk up to me and say, "hi friend, I have just deposited 1 million into your account" without presenting any evidence. l only have two options to do regarding the knowledge that just came to.

It is either I dismiss it, or believe it and go check it. The other "knowing" is when I most have checked it out and confirm with all certainty that indeed, he did what he said he has done.

I need faith in the formal illustration but need no faith in the latter. I sincerely hope you got what I am driving at.

So anytime you haven't confirmed something is when you operate by faith?

Of course. God gave us His word and ask us to take Him at his word, then we will surely know that He has done what He said, He has done. Sadly, many are dismissing it to their own ruin.

LoL! You just admitted that you only operate by faith when you have not confirmed something and you are wondering why we say no? LMFAO!

I do not need faith for anything important so why should I take on faith a god and its scheme of "salvation" when I cannot confirm it?

You have not provided evidence.
You christians need to understand the difference between claims and evidence.
What is your evidence for the existence of the christian God?

What is the evidence that you will wake up tomorrow? If you are not living in faith.

I bet you have not given thought to it.

The evidence is I have woken up for the past few thousand days so I have a reasonable expectation that it will be the case tomorrow. Add to that my experience is not unique, 7+billion people woke up today, I need no faith for that.

They that seek him with their whole heart will truly come to know that He is. They will find me, when they seek me with their whole heart says the Holy One.

Makes no sense. If god was truly omnibenevolent and omnipotent, atheists wont exist.
PS I searched for him with my whole heart. That's how I ended up being atheist.
