Hmmm. What could have went wrong? Don't go too far as to hiring immigration lawyer from the US. The cost will be too burdensome for you, and you could use the money to do something much noteworth to move your life forward. This is my advice. Get a goood lawyer in Nigeria. You will then use legal means to force your bank and its headquarters to contact the embassy (with some legal docs backing this) and demand they disclose the source they use to verify your bank statement. Chances are they contacted your bank headquaters (but not sure). It is crazy how someone will just make some erroneous decisions and insist it's right. It's unacceptable! You will have to make your bank do the needful. In fact, make your lawyer sue the bank on the ground that the statement given to you is fake. Let the bank come clean enough--make it seems you're blaming them for the ban. Once your bank branch sees such legal battle brewing, they will do something and likely contact the embassy for clarification. aduku1: |

Had my interview today. To be honest with you all ehn. I cannot comprehend all I said to get the white paper. It was like something else assumed me. I'm saying because I can't give a transcript and I know I learnt a lot from reading people's transcript. It was my first time though. It was an MBA program with focus on financial management and investment. Lincoln university California is the school. But my advice is simple. Know well about the course you are going for. Please don't cram. Thank you nairalanders.. You groomed me!!![/quote]Can i get your contact? |

paulemi:I believe the VO was not fully convinced about your home ties. That's why he asked about marriage and kids...Although,the digital start up is a tie he is not really convinced. He expects you to have a strong experience on what to you want to start-up before going for a Mater's after setting up the business..My thought though! |

Hello, I’m in the process of registering for TOEFL. I want to know if the international passport is the only acceptable means of identification at the test venue. For some reasons my international passport isn’t available at the moment but I have my national ID card with the NIN number. Has anybody written the TOEFL test using any means of identification other than the international passport? And if you were able to write the exams hope you didn’t have issues with getting your test score or encountered any problem at all. Thank you. |
| Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 14 by Walspring: 3:48pm On Jan 11, 2019 |
kidUrbane:Yes that is the only means and without it you won't be allowed to write the exam.. |

Walspring:Okay. Thank you so much for your response. I will do the needful. |

| Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 14 by domex007: 5:23pm On Jan 11, 2019 |
aduku1:This is a serious case because it difficult and its takes a long time for the US embassy to resolve any case they feel is fraudulent. Fact is: you might not come to the US in a long time. Which is why is advise you get a lawyer to look into your case while you do something worth while with your time. Good luck. I am sorry for the mistake... |

nelronaldo:Marriage and kids isn't the exact reason they denied you. A lot times when they want to deny, they will ask that question to hide the exact reason why you are being denied. He/she probably didn't feel like giving you for some other reasons. VOs are trained to do this. This happens to 18 year olds too, how many 18 year olds are married? |

aduku1:I guess those you contacted do not know their worth or maybe, you did not brief them well of the happenings. This isn't a complicated case and I feel most lawyers should be happy to take on this one. Are you appealing the decision or you want justice and need them clear your name? |
| Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 14 by aduku1(m): 9:00pm On Jan 11, 2019 |

fairheart:An immigrant petition might be a red flag on its own. But if other application materials demonstrate good enough home ties, I wouldn't stress about it. You can have a petition filed on your behalf without you even knowing-it's not like something that requires your signature. If the beneficiary doesn't know genuinely, I think its a valid scenario. That being said, I wouldn't put a pause on my career because of some petition that can take years even up to a decade. I would build a strong profile and go ahead @kodeya |
| Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 14 by GboyegaD(m): 10:19pm On Jan 11, 2019 |
aduku1:That is why I believe you should just use lawyers in Nigeria to achieve that. They know what to do to get the bank and the US embassy prove who is at fault and your records corrected. |

Hello, I don't know if this is the right place to ask this. Forgive my Naive mind, I have always thought of leaving the country but I don't know step or process involved. Someone had once told me that I will have to collect the Yellow Paper first, another said it's visa or was it passport? I seem to be in a conundrum and I beseech an enlightened one here to tell me the steps or process involved up to the point Of my departure. Also, my main purpose for wanting to travel out is Education and perhaps, curiosity. I am the kind that love to explore... So, What are the documents I need? What should I have in place? Which office should I visit first? After that, what next? Will be in anticipation of a benign response. #Sola |
