You can say that again.Gbadamosi, He is vast, Understands the questions gave the best answer. The other man in White should be an herbalist or a commissional for local government and chieftancy affair. Sanwo Igbo is a disappointment while Agbajes PDP just wanna end the era of Tinubu.
I wish the senatorial candidates should be squeezed as well. That’s what Nigeria needs, as such we can know the aspirants better

My broda, na so o?

As d economi dey give person sleepless nights nko, na wetin we go do?

It's just sad that after the whole event where there's such an overwhelming consensus as to who should get support of the polity at polls, the results get to show that it was all just an academic exercise. sad

Looking on the bright side, it feels good to know that we have good hands and brains who are willing to face the powers that be for a chance to do the job of improving our lot.

Even, if he stands the slimmest chance of the three, from what I saw on the youtube clips of the whole debate, I will vote for him regardless. He did his homework so he deserves it.

Talk is cheap!
Governments aren't run by debates.
The whole lot of them need to clearly state their agendas for the State and explain how to accomplish them with the available resources within timelines.
Then publish it as a service charter.

Example is those that said they will clear Apapa traffic. The question is HOW?
It's not just issuing directives and order.
How?
In steps... Factoring in all the stakeholders. You think other governments havent tried to?

Another example is primary health care... HOW?
Is it by building more hospital and staff them with this same work force that have a bad work culture?
We will only have more hospital with more people unable to access good health care.

Traffic in Lagos is not caused by pot holes or weak lastma... It's caused by the pressure on the drainage system by a population with bad sanitation habits. The drains get blocked, the road floods, the pothole appears.

These are the kind of thinking that will deliver governance...

I wasnt going to disclose how Nigerian politicians win election until after 16th but you have won the puzzle so ill let out the bag.

Litdutchboy, now here is conclusion. grin

Do you know how Nigerian politician wins election? He ties his background to university degrees and smartness to communicate English grammar than his opponents. He talks about his certificates and credentials and alma mater and experience in office, his travels to foreign places and about turning the serene beauty of his state into a concrete monument called infrastructure. He turns his political ambition into a vehicle for elitism and academic bragadacio.

The Nigerian politician was sent to school from proceeds of pepper and tomato sales, from sheep and goat sales, from hawking bread and akara and moinmoin, from tuwo and amala joints.......but he never appreciate the market economy and traders and hawkers and artisans who all together form the grassroot economy without which the Nigerian society will be bankrupt....yet the Nigerian politician will call himself an economist, an accountant, a lawyer, an engineer....but never acknowledge himself as the son of a market trader, a carpenter, a mechanic, a painter.....

We have a long way to go.

We dismiss a cow merchant and farmer for not having a certificate.

But we desire an employer of labour who wrote a policy paper and never once acknowledge the grassroot traders. Or his deputy claimed to be an economist....but doesnt know tha language of the market women.

I pity Nigeria! grin

They win election by taking advantage of the people they impoverished. They have built vast wealth from diverting resources meant to build hospitals, roads, provide portable water and provide electricity. They then use this fortune to distribute to leaders of certain interest groups such as traditional rulers, religious leaders,Nation Union of Road Transport Workers to keep their followers in line and on election day distribute food and money to the people they are responsible for making them live in penury.

So, if this Gbadamosi (of ADP) guy was formally with PDP that means Agbaja lied. Because he claimed he's contesting because his party couldn't find a younger credible candidate to match APC. And here is everybody thumbing this guy up.

Politicians and lie-lie...

Let me be frank with you all. Please this is not meant to discourage or dissapoint you, its reality Im sharing.

If your interest is to put Gbadamosi in govt house, you will need four years of preparation to make it come true. It is impossible to make him governor and election is just about 50days away. Impossible in Lagos.

Lagos is not like other states when it comes to party politics.

Lagos civil service itself is the biggest party structure in Nigeria. Local Govts and their Councils in Lagos are better orgarnized and self dependent than most states in the federation. There are local govts in Lagos that earn more monthly income than many states in Nigeria....and they are all APC.

So think about disrupting that huge network and structure of party heirarchy and economic success for one stranger called Gbadamosi because he performed well in a debate. grin grin

Humans like to repeat rewarding experience and will fight attempts to take away his rewards. Humans hate to repeat pains.

What you see in Gbadamosi is good. It is not good enough to convince a LG Chairman to vacate office for ADP because Gbadamosi can speak and debate well.

You all can vote him but as far as victory in Lagos goes, LG and councils win elections not candidates. SanwoOlu is not candidate because he wants to be governor. He is there because Lagos APC says so. Ambode would like to run again...he is not because Lagos APC says so.

Gbadamosi, regardless of the number of votes you give him will not win because Lagos APC says so.

Lagos APC gave Buhari victory at 2014 primary in Lagos. Did you all forget? Lagos brings in the highest wealth in Nigeria, above revenue from oil.....and APC controls the state.

Even Jimi Agbaje has accepted that he cannot win against APC, he is just flowing with the script. He will never put up a disruption to APC. He knows. Owolabi Salis knows. Mr Salis is the head of Eyo Agere, he is close to the Oba palace, he knows. This is nothing but charade...a stage show so it doesnt appear Lagos is one party state.

Guys, good luck putting Gbadamosi in govt house in 2019.

There is no democracy or political party structure anywhere in the world devoid of godfatherism. None!

The godfathers of politics in Chicago told Senator Obama he was running. It was a command.

The political godfathers in Texas put Trump in power to destabilize and renew Republican party under a new and future dynasty.

Putin earned backing of godfathers to remain so long in power and he has himself become a godfather.

So stop the noise about godfatherism....we need it. In fact its good for us in Lagos.

Those are two development anchors we really care about here.
