I doubt if there is a connection
I suspect it puts pressure on the stiches, but it might also be from sitting for too long. I stopped both and the pain is gone.

Happy new year super mums, please I noticed for the first time in 6months post delivery an unusual rash on my son though I used powder on him once recently cos of the hot weather and stopped,I tried using funbact A but it kept spreading to his leg what can I use or is it somehow related to teething cos he's showing signs last week he had fever just finished treating him malaria the fever subsided
but the rash is still spreading.

Secondly cos of too much stress in the day with baby and older siblings no strength for night duties and hubby is seriously complaining please how do you handle this?

FloraEC and Besea have answered your questions beautifully!
Yes, stop the Funbact A, you're doing his skin more harm than good, all those creams are drugs and should not be used frequently especially not for babies. Let his skin breathe, use things like coconut oil, palm kernel oil etc Babies and rashes can be like 5 & 6 if they get too sweaty.

Sometimes, men fail to realise that lovemaking is a thing of the mind for women. If we're stressed, aunty punanii sef will not respond when it is time for kpekus. To handle this, you need to get your husband to help out more, hopefully he is the understanding and helpful type of man. Find a good time to discuss your challenges and let him know how he can help.
A good number of men want to help but sometimes us women make them feel as if we can do everything. Abeg we are not Wonder Woman o, he needs to work with you in raising your kids and taking care of the home.

If he isn't the listening type, that would be a tough one sis. But nothing is impossible.

awesomboi:
I noticed my children react to soya beans powder a lot but I know its good for babies when added to their cereal, it makes them poo frequently, please how do you add soybeans to the pap so that it does not react in children?

If your kids react to anything, please stop it immediately. That's the body's way of saying what it does not want. Soyabeans is not the only food that will make them poo frequently. Oatmeal, fruits, vegetables and a lot of water will also do the job.
There are a lot of studies that say soybeans can be dangerous and advise us to avoid it, another school of thought believes it is an awesome food. For me sha o, I'll rather avoid something that has controversy surrounding it.

[quoMy DD cut her first 2teeth when she was 11month plus. She is having only 4teeth now at 14months plus.
Plz I hope its okay for a baby not to have any teeth in almost 8 months coz I am scared. She is not even showing sign of teething (if there is any). She is crawling and can stand up while holding something. Someone said by this time her baby already had like 8tooth. Op nothing is wrong. Plz answer me ASAP. I beg[/quote]

If you keep listening to people that will tell you how their baby can carry 25kg of water by 10months old and can fly a plane by 11months old, you will have heart attack o. grin cheesy.. My baby had a mouth full of teeth by 8months and did not walk until 14months. Each child will reach their own milestone at their own time. Don't listen to people telling you nonsense and don't put your baby under pressure abeg.

Mamas how una dey? I miss coming here often but life coupled with this belle has not been easy. @eskbabe where are You? Hope pregnancy is being good to you.

When did she start? I'm guessing recently. Don't worry, she will adjust. My baby started school on Monday and was throwing serious tantrums when I was about to leave. Same thing yesterday. However immediately I carried her into her class today, this child of mine told me bye bye shocked shocked and started dancing to the nursery rhyme playing on TV. I laughed my ads out cos it was unexpected so don't worry, it would soon be over.

Is this something that happens generally? My baby just started school on Monday and she has come back with two scratches. I called the proprietress just this evening and she said let her ask the teacher. She later called back and said the teacher said she is scratching herself with her nails. I KNOW I trim my baby's nails every weekend as she is one to pinch you at any time so I checked her nails and they were well trimmed. Called the proprietress back and told her I will not accept my baby coming back home with any more scratches. She apologised and said she would personally check the nails of all the babies in reception class tomorrow so now I hope she follows through.

@Liftedhands...happy birthday. More grace to you. Would be need that any mbaise soon so make I go dey save money.

eksbabe:
Hello mums, hope you all had a productive day?
Please oo mums who still have kids in creche or have once had kids in creche, is it normal for kids to come home like everyother day with one scratch or the other on the face? In a week, my son can have his face scratched like twice. I have complained tire, the excuse is “they are mostly boys and they play rough, bla bla bla”.
I know kids’ nails grow long easily but i try to cut my son’s nails as often as possible.
They usually list about 2 kids who always have long nails in the creche and i have said severally that on Fridays they can remind parents to cut their kids’ nails before a new week.
I hope i am not overreacting on this issue, it is a frequent occurence and that is why i am bringing it here.

Mamas Please I need your opinion on this
My 5 weeks old son groans whenever he wants to poo or fart, even if he's sleeping, he starts groaning until he poo/fart, then continues sleeping. I hate to see him struggling with so much discomfort just to poo/fart most times and I don't know if its normal.
Also, I've been hearing that Exclusively Breast Fed babies don't poo for days but mine poos all the time, like three to four times a day. He's adding weight quite alright and eats a lot too, but I didn't expect the frequent poo and wonder if its normal.
