I don't think a superman or a batman film will be well recieved. Expectati0ns are high for these characters, that was mainly what scared Affleck. He didn't want an0ther backlash and a damaged career. But if WB prove stubborn and come up with a MOS 2, then they should go with Parasite as main villain, Toy man with Lex as a side villain to introduce JL 2. No supergirl but a hint at her.

After recently seeing Aquaman, I noticed that the final battle between orm and Arthur was separated by their mother, a little Martha nod.

what's with DC boys and their Moms anyway?

overall Aquaman was a good movie.

*could have had better dialogue in the first 15 minutes or so. and I'm absolutely furious they didn't call him Orin... screw that.
*Black manta was a little corny at first... but became a total bad ass with the suit.


other than that
* Amazing visuals
* Awesome cinematography and camera work, such an eye candy... those long takes were fire
* Action scenes and fight choreography were badass
* great performance from Wilson, heard, Defoe, Kidman and Dolph... Momoa will always be Momoa and I'm ok with that.

*Mera was absolutely stunning through out.
* the world building was fantastic I can't wait to dive deeper
* best part was the third act.... #fire

Ocean master was the stand out for me... MVP and I loved the expresive eyes with the mask.

favorite quote was from the crab King...

they kn0w this but the thing is flashpoint isn't the only story that can be used to reboot the dceu. There's infinite crises, blackest night, the nail, etc. Dc has no shortage of those.

Don't know about you guys, but the stand out performer for me in Aquaman was Black Manta. Gaddemit guys! I really really loved his arc. Definitely one I can't wait to see more of in the DCEU. He really whooped Aquaman's aşs. Movie was okay though. Would definitely rewatch it at another time.
