For many, this election is not about competence or credibility. Its mostly about tribalism, selfish interest, regional hatred etc..

Why was it not allowed to complete?

I would have directed you to my post but then I wasn't on Nairaland when Amaechi's comments were trending. How many versions have been released now? About 5? Except those were someone else speaking, which we have not been led to believe, one may just have to believe the full audio contained some rots as well.
I think Amaechi's decision not to have the recordings/transcript published is still his greatest undoing in that regards if it contains no rot in truth. It was pretty easy getting the full version since Channels TV publish their interviews online.

What is the shame about this? Man is fallible in all ramifications of life and that's the reason we have words like, remorse, repentance, etc. History is full of examples of people who lived wrong, did wrong, etc and then we're either repentant or remorseful of their past deeds and when they had a second opportunity they were able to right many wrongs they did and even excelled better than those who had criticized or even had a very clean past!
