Sorry if this is d wrong place but i felt this is where i could get reply.

There was a fraud case involving a staff in my place of work and my boss whats me to act as witness to d case or get fired because i unknowingly gave out some information to the suspect.

Advice needed pls

Thanks the thing is d guy in question was my friend and i feel bad about testifying against him though what he did was wrong.

But from my boss point of view is either is testify or lose my job which i am afraid of

So your friend was smart enough to defraud the company but stupidly allowed the case get to court. Advise your friend to go into a plea bargain with your boss because whether you like it or not, theres nothing like mistakenly told him when they decide to rope you in as an accomplice. And the danger of choosing not to be a witness goes beyond losing your job, be smart
