Nigeria Is Not A Place For Homosexuals – Dolapo Badmus by FlirtyGist: 5:17am On Jan 18, 2019
Zone 2 police Public Relations Officer, Dolapo Badmus, has told the LGBT community in Nigeria that the country is not a place for homosexuals.

She made this known in a recent post on her Instagram page in which she stated that Nigeria is not a place for homosexuals.

In her post, Dolapo pointed out that the Anti-gay law signed by ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, has criminalized all gay activities in Nigeria. She wrote;

If you are homosexually inclined, Nigeria ?? is not a place for you.
There is a law (Same sex Prohibition Act) here that criminalizes homosexual clubs, associations and organizations with penalties of up to 14yeats in jail.
So if you are homosexual in nature, leave the country or face prosecution.
But before you say does these matter?! Kindly note that anything against the law of the land is criminal and all crimes will be punished accordingly no matter how small you think it is.
The law says, “A person who registers, operates or participates in gay clubs, societies or organizations, directly or indirectly makes public show of same-sex amorous relationship in Nigeria commits an offense and is liable on conviction to a term of 10 years.”
Anyone convicted of entering into a same-sex marriage contract or civil union faces up to 14 years imprisonment.
All LGBT candidates in Nigeria should beware.

Damn right it ain't.

You homosexuals are so entitled and act like jackasses in the US. Once someone doesn't agree with your sexual preferences, your community goes ahead to ruin that person's life. America gave you all an inch and you went 10 miles.

And secondly, if you are gay, keep that to yourself. Nobody cares.

That's one of the reasons our community is not liked by most people.

When you are in Rome, do as the Romans do.
If there is no laws, then there is no sin.

You guys have an option tho (unlike the other 'offenses') : If you want to be Gay or lesbians or be in the LGBT community as a whole, then find your way out of the country to the climes where such acts are practised.
Over there, people respect you and treat you as a normal person you are, they work with you, joke with you, go to church with you, party with you and respect the fact that is the way you chose to be or that is the way you 'were procreated'.
So you guys have a choice here unlike other 'offenses' the Police PRO listed up there!

We will always RESPECT your decision to be whoever you chose to be, but kindly respect the laws of the land.
Godluck guys and babes!

Won't be surprised if this lady is a lesbian......or have a thing or two bout lady crush grin
We have more pressing issues and yet police are more interested in the activities of two consenting adults that does not in way, directly or indirectly jeopardize the peace and safety of any state or the country at large.

And this is what our police force would lay emphasis on and subtly encourage a mob action on any one whom our usual hypocritical brothers and sisters would suspect as an lgbt?

How does this affect us as a nation and our lives individually in Gods name? What shame, reproach, hardship and underdevelopment has this issue of the lgbt brought upon us that corruption, covetousness, selfishness, greed and lack of love for our neighbour hasn't brought? Smh

Mind you, we are supposedly one of the most religious countries in the world and even though we obviously abhor the lgbts and their lifestyles, countries who are tolerant of them are still always way ahead of us in every spectrum, and we would even sell our parents to obtain a visa to go live in these countries. I won't be surprised if some of the yay sayers here are even posting from one of the lgbt tolerant countries.

This is such a shame.

The same Dolapo spewing hatred here would ass lick some one like Richard Quest if she is opportune to meet him, neither will she turn down an opportunity to go for a course or visit to one of these countries either on religious or moral belief grounds.

Hypocrites who often than not stand for nothing and usually fall for anything.

Evo-WHAT. So human beings are still evolving. Your sophistication is maddening. You think it's okay for two males to have conjugal sex and get married. SMH. In my world we say NO to sodomites.

Just gays? For that matter just Nigeria?
Maybe we should arrange transport and put these ladies and gents on Elon Musk's spaceship and send them to Mars. They can live and procreate there, if they can.
