RTSC:

This is the not the first government to yap on diversification.
Don't make it sound like a new policy.

Infact the only real attempt at diversification was under akinwunmi adeshina and other Jonathan created programmes like the You win and sure -p programmes, all actively investing realistically on Nigerian entrepreneurs.
Also the BOI industry was actively helping businesses then, but not anymore.

Is it 10,000 naira trader moni that will diversify the economy?
One thing you should know is that SureP beneficiaries were selective and majorly targeted the elite. The average Nigerian cannot come out to say they benefited unlike the NPower program where you see Nigerians learning new skills to empower themselves.

I won't even add the trader money to it as that basically was to reduce the rate of poverty that was high as inherited from the previous administration.

You see, what's baffling is the fact that when the rate of poverty was high in country, was period we had the highest sales of crude oil per barrel. That's ironical and shameful.

The YouWin and SureP programme was sponsored plenty and still no Nigerian can boldly come to say I benefited. We all see what's happening with NPower, even your brother or sister or a family member could be in the scheme and this were programmes sponsored in scarcity, in recession, specifically from money recovered from the looting of past administration.

This government deserves some positive appraisal.

This is what President Buhari has done within the limited resources available after it was massively looted during the previous administration.

Again, they're planning to continue atikulooting.

who took us into recession? who slowed our growth?

How can businesses prosper under a recessive economy?

How you are beginning to get a grasp on things.

What you should be asking is, how many millionaires did we have before buhari? how many are we having today.

That's a truer comparison, don't you think, mate?
It's shameful that you claim to be educated and you think recession of a whole country can start with 3 years.

Just to let you know, recession is a build up process and a reaction of accumulated economical problems.

7 years ago, precisely 2012. The minister of finance Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala warned the government about the recession coming. What we're experiencing now is not new, it has been foretold.

Maybe this is due to high inequalities in Nigeria, because the economy of this country is not smiling to keep producing millionaires at 16%
Re: Nigeria Leads Others In Increasing Number Of Millionaire Populations by Guestlander: 9:11am On Jan 18, 2019
More millionaires are made because the economy is expanding. This is not something the PDP folks will like to read about.
We mustn't go back to making only Atiku's friends rich.

Poverty in the mids of plenty. Corruption! corruption !! corruption!!!.Nigeria is said to be the 6th richest oil producing countries in the world and yet Nigeria is said to be the poorest country in the world. The resultant effect is that Nigeria is the most corrupt country in the world.

the rich people in the north are business men example dan tata , dan gote and many more they all participate in rice, maize, animal etc trade if u dont forget massive reliance on business is on of the reason alot of northers are not in school they may be poor in western education but excellent in terms of wealth .
