Grasshopper Business in Nigeria: Unconventional yet Promising Venture

Grasshopper business in Nigeria is gradually becoming a highly lucrative business in parts of northern Nigeria as the insect is fast becoming a sought-after tasty delicacy and delicious snack consumed in northern states such as Katsina, Borno, Kaduna, Kano, Jos, FCT, even Lagos and beyond.

Grasshoppers are tropical insects, which pose great danger to farmers, because they feed on plants, grasses and crops in tropical, semi-arid regions or any other areas that are favourable to their existence.

As dangerous as grasshopper is to farming, it is seen as a goldmine for some, as it is a sought-after commodity for

I believe with the right research and development, sourcing and production Nigeria will meet it's protein demand without any stress. I read sometime ago how Mosquitoes were processed into food and I was marveled. Very nutritious and safer protein sources abound on this continent, we have no business with producing Chicken for ourselves rather, we eat what we have and produce for others what they want. I don't have a degree in economics but I know this is a sure way to feed and strengthen our population without importing what's unsafe to us and weakening our economy.

The other day it was someone making millions from planting one plot of what I don't even remember again, now this one.
Is like all those dreams some people were sold when farming schemes were rampant, that if you contribute x amount, within 3 months or time of harvest, your X naira would have become millions.
Grasshoppers may have food and nutritional value, but that people can become millionaires from its breeding,is just fallacy of monumental proportions

I will not eat ze bugs

I will own property and spawn more carbon emitting mouth breathers that will be cannivores.

I will denounce the Talmud and the ZOG and proclaim Christ is King!

I will not support Jewish degeneracy in the form of LGBTQ.

Neither will I respect any career woman's choice of opting out Ze Kitchen and ze ozar room. They remain wh0res in my book

And yes, I won't be happy and I will resist the ZoG till my last dying breath and last bullet.

Have you read 1 Timothy chapter 4 where it's said that no food is unclean and nothing is to be refused and have you read where Jesus said in Mark 7: 18-20 that what we eat don't defile us but what comes out of the heart?

You must separate Old Covenant's legalistic ways of attempting to please God (which the bible states is not acceptable to God) and embrace the New Testament's faith based worship (which is the new order and which is based on walking in the Spirit).

There is no food that is sinful. Food doesn't commend us to God for neither if we eat are we the better or if we don't eat are we the worse.1 Cor. 8:8.

The ONLY thing that counts is our faith in Jesus. There is liberty in Christ. May God give you understanding.

sad Even though I'm a born again Christian, I can't justify eating this. The Bible warns we Christians in the book of leviticus 11:22 against eating grasshoppers and four legged insects. Any Christian that eats this will go to Hell for ever. I pray our lord Jesus continue to guide and protect the Palestinians against the evil persecutions of Isreal. Amen sad

Interesting so what was John the Baptist meal in the wilderness?

The scripture you used clearly stated that it is not an abomination to eat it, read the whole of the chapter again.
