After all and done, I eventually settled for hero square apartment. I liked the space, luxury suite and it afforded the opportunity to view Owerri very well.

There is a silent revolution going on in Owerri, and this is from someone who has lived in different parts of Nigeria. The only place that is more liveable than Owerri in Nigeria today is Abuja. By the time other cities wake up, Owerri will be running neck and neck with Abuja. Owerri will soon leave Enugu and Calabar behind.

Owerri airport is a dead airport... don’t ask me why.
What do you mean by that? How can the 4th busiest airport in Nigeria be a dead airport??
I know the airport very well, so could you please expatiate on what made it a dead airport??

Official inauguration of CAN building.

But, something captivating caught my attention,
Check out the blue and white coloured multi - storey building in the background as shown in the last cropped out pic below,

Haven't seen it before, Anyone in the know of what it is built for ?

That's a 9 storey recently built hotel. So many of such buildings are at finishing stage within New Owerri axis. Ihedioha abandoned his own at 7th floor.

There’s an urgent need for an active industrial sector to support the flourishing hospitality hub in Imo. If this is not forthcoming, the state should narrow her activity in health, IT and petro-chemicals

One step at a time. If Uche Nwosu succeeds Okorocha and continues undeterred in the next 5 to 10 years we should be talking about Singapore type of development because he hired international experts from Singapore that drew the map and procedure of what he is doing in Imo modeled after Singapore of 1965. His problem has been lack of funds which slowed down execution but it's obvious that Imo is heading in right direction.

Well being non-partisan, I hope the votes genuinely reflects the will of the people.

My best wishes for the people of Imo state and the incoming governor!

Tufiakwa!! Imo now needs a well educated governor.
For Uche Nwosu, Imo state is Owerri.

Rubish. all i see is hotels. while Anambra is building factories Imo state capital is turned into a whoring den. Is Owerri the only place in Imo? how about orlu and Okikwe, the situation in Orluvis.not only pathetic but shameful. Rochas must have done well for owerri, but he faiked woefully by abandoning other parts of Imo. Orlu Zone will definately go for their own thats a fact, cos they have been short changed by Rochas. I cant say i blame them.
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Asshurbanipall: 6:52am On Jan 19, 2019
You guys should focus on discussing your useless Imo state and stop bringing Anambra into it. Discuss your state solely on this thread.
