Hi guys ! Please anyone in SA for undergraduate study ? Or who just got admitted for UG ?

I applied for an undergraduate admission at the university of Pretoria but I was asked to provide HESA confirmation.

Please how do I certify the documents requested by HESA ? Where can I get this done and does it have to be the original or the photocopies .

Thank you and good luck to everyone

I just received a call from the high commission. I was asked for police clearance from Germany where I did my masters. The caller then requested to know when I left germany after which she said she would get back to me.

Anyone have similar experience

How did u go about it bro

First of all ...... I have to thank God for what he has done........

I was rejected when i first applied on the ground of unconvincing documents and all....... I felt bad because all submitted documents were all original........I gave it another trial by re-applying with same documents but i included all the documents listed below....

Letter of employment
Letter of promotions
Letter of introduction from my office HR department
Letter of self introduction (stating how i planned spending my holiday)
Leave letter from my office
Pay slip (6mths)
Bank statement (Bal N700,000.00k) 6 months
All office ID cards.
Family picture.
Flight ticket (South Africa AIrline)
Hotel Reservation (To be when i arrive)
Yellow card
New Passport picture (Looking sharp) lol
Court affidavit for change of name (My bank name does not totally tally with the name on my bank statement....cos of R instead of K)
and Prayers.....

Finally result....Multiple Entry Visa.
Finally words.........Dnt give up on your dreams ....and make sure all documents are genuine.

Thank God.

Yes you can.
Exchange rate varies
You will be charged NGN1,200 per withdrawal.

Pls pls and please,
Only use ATM's in secure spaces like inside banks or inside malls else there's a very good chance tha8t your card will have a second owner

What is the maximum cash per withdrawal??

@Drey143 also got a call from the high commission but not regarding police clearance.

Drey143:
Hi everyone, I just received a call from someone in the high commission

VO: Hello l'm Mr xxxx calling you from the SA high commission...you applied for a study visa?
Me: yes I did.
VO: what is your name?
Me: I replied
VO: what school are you going to
Me:UCT
VO: what course?
Me: mech and mechatronics
VO: who is sponsoring you?
Me: my father, and he has a company (said that because I used my father's company account)
VO: when is the course starting?
Me: the school resumes January 28 but I'll fly January 25th( that's what I stated in my introduction letter and that's the date in my flight reservation that I submitted)
VO:okay..then he said something like confirmed I didn't hear clearly though and he hanged up immediately

I'm wondering why they had to call on a Sunday.. What if I was in church ....i wasn't the one who picked at first.. I hope there's no problem with that?

It was like an interview tho..
I pray the visa is released this week o

@Lekelaniyan, please since you are going for studying, when is your school resuming? The main question is, can Visa be granted after the date of resumption by the school you are going to attend?

I am applying for a study visa.
The statement of account is in the region of 800k.

Pls any suggestions
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by vicola5533: 4:42pm On Jan 21, 2019
Yeah! So I heard, 800k to 1m is enough. Like she must be within that income limit 6 months prior to your application.

It's best your friend writes a signed letter stating that he/she would accommodate you for the period of your stay (stating the duration) and would ensure that you leave the Republic at the end of your authorized stay.

He/she should also include a phone number, a certified copy of his data page and permit (for non South Africans) or ID for SA citizens and Permanent Residents.

The reason for this letter is to prove to the PoE officials that you have somewhere to stay. If you present only two days hotel booking for a 13 day stay, it raises serious questions on your credibility as a genuine visitor.
