SalamRushdie:As much as I place some value on your response I would like to state that in this administration, almost all the federal agencies and even those at the grassroot are scared of been caught in any corrupt practices, needless to mention the ministries so close to the Presidency. In regards corruption, that's not a problem. Your point 2 and 3 is handled. Looking at point 1, from the detail of the signed order, the government is not leaving construction duties to the private sector. What the government is saying is that despite what we do from our end, you too can construct or maintain roads. Which I believe it's simply a part of the private sector responsibility in the first place. Considering your last point, there's a standard for every federal road regardless of the construction company. They can't go less on any project. 1 Like 1 Share |

Yes you are right but that i think is because of percentage some internals will get but as far as private company is concerned, before any project is awarded, thorough negotiation will be put in place that they may not even spend up to 2/3 of the amount F.G. will spend. However, who are the people receiving the projects contract? they will purposely inflate the price because it is government money. don't be surprised that rancor will soon emerge as regards this, even tax company will complain, no more loyalty settlement but they go scan F.G small oooo. it is a good move though. freemanbubble: |

freemanbubble: Look, stop the intellectual laziness. Building firms like Julius Berger and co are not private companies? They probably pay billion in taxes. The article already made it clear government will offer tax incentives to attract the participation of the private sector. How is this difficult to comprehend? How do you think Tinubu managed to keep Lagos moving forward when OBJ froze Lagos oil allocation? Was it not through thre usr of PPP model? I.e Public/Private sector Patnership Buhari is now trying to utilise because Nigeria is severely cash-strapped? Please oga try to think outside the box. |

Re: BREAKING: Buhari Signs Executive Order Allowing Private Companies To Build Roads by casualobserver2: 8:22pm On Jan 25, 2019 |
End of all taxes in Nigeria. All companies will build roads to the MDs village, collect tax credit reducing tax expense and then the MD will run for House of Reps seat. They will also adopt Tinubu 1Billion per kilometer. FIRS will finally go broke because they will overinflate the cost of the roads to completely remove all taxes. As sharp guys the contract for the road will go to the wire or kids of the MD to double the hustle. Sharp men everywhere. |
Re: BREAKING: Buhari Signs Executive Order Allowing Private Companies To Build Roads by casualobserver2: 8:31pm On Jan 25, 2019 |
SalamRushdie: Thank God some of us can see clearly. This is the end of all taxes in Nigeria. They will overvalue the road, pay off some FIRS ogas, allocate the contract to wives or kids, build road to third village and then run for House of Reps using tax credit project. 1 Like 1 Share |
