The suspension of the CJN by PMB is one of the wisest decision this administration has taken since it assumption.
Nigeria is not a Banana Republic and we can't be perpetually impeded by frivolous technicalities in obviously clear case of misconduct.

Saraki and Co can rant till thy kingdom come but the true spirit of the law will have it way.

Ignorant is not an excuse in court, So it seems you are are ignorant.

Onnoghen plan to inaugurate Election Tribunal tomorrow even when we've not had the election.

I beg, I no be lawyer, between election petition tribunal and general election, which one should come first?

I've been voting since 1983 and Election Tribunal usually constituted after the election had taken place.

See also the recent Tribunals at Ado Ekiti and Oshogbo set up after the elections.

Now, why would Onnoghen want to inaugurate Election Tribunal tomorrow even when the election is in 3 weeks time?

Onnoghen definitely has something up his sleeve.

And where is he deriving his power to SUSPEND the CJN? or is your brain filled with OMO?

At this point you really need to just shut up to save yourself from further sounding stupid.

Read section 11 and note section c and you will realise there is absolutely no limitation placed on Mr president when it comes to suspending him

The CJ does have a moral burden based on the discoveries made so far but the law must follow its course.
Mr. President has acted unconstitutionally and this singular act will obfuscate the matter on ground and make him very unpopular.

Sadly, this was a well set trap which he predictably fell into .............albeit unwittingly.

yes..it's sad that a man who is the CJN can blatantly hide money in his account and then say he forgot --what message is that to the international community ----

but I am not surprised at saraki's response ----but what exactly is his next line of action

Who is impeaching who? This is all politics, why should CJN think of inaugurating the election tribunals when he still has a case to answer.

I see the word " gross misconduct".

That is the term for impeachment.

The Senate President should begin impeachment proceeding against the President and delegitimize him if he continues on this route.

The person or persons who advised the President on this action are really a bunch of siilly foools I swear.

By the way, where is VP Osibanjo, who is supppsed to be a Law prof. Shebi he was denying the other day that Buhari did not know any thing about the arrangement of the CJN.

let saraki try that and then next day he will be removed as senate president --2/3 of which house

Inauguration of tribunals is an extant function of the CJ as provided for in the Constitution.

i can see many peope wailing just because buhari suspended justice onnoghen. I can only laugh at such people. You all knew buhari is a hardened dictator and yet u made him ur presisent. It is too late to cry. U must accept whatever he serves u in good fate. The possibility of impeaching buhari is now dead because before u can impeach d president the judiciary has its own role to play in the impeachment process and d judiciary has now been pocketed. The new CJN will play a good boy.the stage is now set for election rigging.
