From experience, it's depends on when you are traveling and the type of accommodation you need including shopping.

Am in London for 4 days December/January
Ethiopia airways return ticket #308,000
Accommodation £50/day on average
Feeding £100/day average
Transport £250 Buy oyster bus card for cheaper transport, taxi suck. Though depends on your route.

Advise: Book for flight ahead like 3 weeks, you can even get cheaper flights on British airways. Looking for hostel or Airbnb for accommodating if you are on low budget. Shopping depends on your pocket size.

Safe trip.

thanks god bless you richly.

You seems to be criticizing this when you don't know where and how I spent it. Am talking from my own perspective.

Take naija as a case study, you can spend #1000 on a coca cola and 2,000 on food in places like Abuja while you will eat to satisfaction in restaurant at ibadan with just #300.

Some places in London, I even spent more in a day. It depends on the restaurant. For example, hotel restaurant cost much than outside one.

So the £100 here depends on where you eat and the type of food you eat couple with drinks.

Spending £100 on food once in a while is in order but doing that daily is abnormal only if you are a premier league footballer.

If you eat that much daily then you have problem with food.

One shouldn't put that in visa application as part of budget breakdown.

That makes no sense visa while, why would you pay yourself salary as a single business owner? How will you convince the ECO that you worth salary of 325K as a business owner? This is like interviewing yourself for a job and determining how much to pay yourself.

My initial question was..how much do you make in a month?

I give up as you are not willing to answer that question.

Somebody else can try.

Good luck.

Bros this your spending on feeding is just out of place and cannot fly for a visa application.

Pls tell us the hotel or restaurant you eat...and is it African dishes or continental?
Thinking the restaurant/meals are meant for celebs.

Hello,

I plan to visit UK in April about easter period (For 7 days) to see my girlfriend although i plan to use hotel booking when applying. I am looking at applying last day in February (About A month away). I earn about 300,000 monthly (about 5 million per annum including other benefits). I have about 900,000 as account balance now (Salary account) and should have about 1.3m by end of february.

Do you think the account balance is sufficient and also not sort of lodgement?

NB:I have been to the UK 3 times between 2011 and 2014 for both studies and visiting

Let me clarify that the question is how much will all cost to travel to and from UK. The answer is not for visa processing as am not an expert in that area.

As for your question, the amount is not for food only including ijekukuje (lol). I stay in the north wella and our mouth no dey stay one place, so we eat anything mouth see. No insult to anyone ooo I beg.

“Classy” but this alone I think can even be his/her undoing, a budget that will sound fictitious to the ECO....

Paying yourself salary as a sole proprietorship.

The expiry date on my CoS is 11 October. I came into UK in September, can I still use it for my dependants application? I have requested for maintenance letter fron my employer but they said they have not been giving maintenance letters to others who have been bringing in their dependants, that they've been using only CoS since it's already written on the CoS that they would provide maintenance.

2. My business is 4 years now. Company papers n taxes in tact.
Do you have a business account?
3. Yes I do have 2 business accounts but I didn’t attach any. I thought since my monthly allowance transfers showed credits from my business account it’s ok.

I have seen that section and it stated that you will be awarded 10points if you have met the English language requirement before.

So you don't need to evaluate your certificate with Uk Naric again. Just make sure that you completed the form properly to reflect that

Thanks for your help sir. When I read those paragraphs I was thinking it was only applicable to those applying for Tier 2 Extension/Leave to remain. I don't know it's also applicable to those reapplying for entry clearance after the 12month cooling - off period. Thanks and God bless you sir.

Hello,
Please what's the cost of prime time appointment at TLS Ikeja if you are paying with card at the VAC. I know it says £78 online if you are paying online. But I know it's a different fee if you are paying with card at the centre. Please anyone help me with the current price. Thanks.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by nomad26: 2:55pm On Jan 26, 2019
I'll answer the first part of your question: the expiry date on your CoS doesn't matter for your dependants' application. The CoS is just proof of your sponsorship.
As for the second part, I think it should be ok since it is stated on your CoS, but maybe try to verify from your colleagues who have gone through similar process.

Sir are you sure about this please? The COS is only valid for 3 months from date of issue after which if appying for dependents you can’t use the number of an expired COS and you will be like asked.

@Heritagee what I believe most people who do not apply at the same time for their dependents do is they save up the money requirement and apply using that. Else you get a valid COS and that might cost you. Cheers.

Yes I am very sure, I was speaking from experience. My partner joined me many months after my CoS had arrived and we submitted it like that. The CoS is issued for the sponsored person NOT for the dependants so it doesn't have to be valid for the dependant's application.

You should have submitted your business account that shows all income and expenditures of the company

Thanks for clarifying. Just to be clear, you also didn’t have to show any proof of funds for your partner? Just the confirmation of maintenance for dependents on the COS sufficed?
