What did Nigerian Embassy say about Trump's sack of US Attorney General, Sack of FBI Director n Shut down of Government for 30days that has impoverished workers?.What about his childish rantings n antics with Nancy Pelosi the Speaker of the Congress?

If Nigerian Embassy did not issue a statement about those events in America then American Embassy should shut up.

For those chanting this is just a suspension and still don't understand why Nigeria is boiling because of this.
Nigeria's democracy is being threatened

it is because this is the beginning of the downfall of our democracy.
the next president will weigh this act when deciding how to handle opposition.
Then we will end up in a situation where our constitution will be ignored and presidents will begin to do as they wish
this may get as bad as sealing of court premises to prevent judgements, executing oppositions etc.

We need countries like US, France, UK etc to sanction Nigeria
not just tweet, Nigeria is in grave danger

Perhaps it's your home that's boiling. Nonsense.

See how they are expending energy in defence of a thief.

Will you be defending him if he was a commoner?

Even if he wins in 2023, the opposition he is facing now would be a child's play compared to then.

It would be a waste of four years.

But I guess, that is enough for you

Tell your Chief Justice of Nigeria to resign.

I don't understand our youth. I expect them to ask questions but they are just posting trash.

Over #300,000,000 found in his Bank Account and he said he forgot to include it in the Asset Declaration.

What an excuse.

If a commoner steal a loaf of bread the same judge will send him to jail for 6 months.

Who can do that in The US? Or UK?

I'm ashamed of Nigerian youths

How many people do you know in Nigeria?

What is your qualification in law?

Did the constitution say he can't be suspended?

Is the Executive expected to take a decision on the Judiciary? Is the education system so dysfunctional that the principles of power desperation is no longer taught?

Buhari can't make a binding decision on the Judiciary talk more of going back on one.

The decision wasn't taking solely by the president he did so base on a court suggestion.

America should mind her business & stop meddling in the internal affairs of host country . They shouldn't forget that her own government was shut down for 35 days cos democrats and republicans don't see eye to eye. Remove the perk in ur own eye b4 u point same out to another.

“The Embassy of the United States is deeply concerned by the impact of the executive branch’s decision to suspend and replace the Chief Justice and head of the judicial branch without the support of the legislative branch on the eve of national and state elections.

We note widespread Nigerian criticism that this decision is unconstitutional and that it undermines the independence of the judicial branch. That undercuts the stated determination of government, candidates, and political party leaders to ensure that the elections proceed in a way that is free, fair, transparent, and peaceful – leading to a credible result.

We urge that the issues raised by this decision be resolved swiftly and peacefully in accordance with due process, full respect for the rule of law, and the spirit of the Constitution of Nigeria. Such action is needed urgently now to ensure that this decision does not cast a pall over the electoral process.”

https://ng.usembassy.gov/statement-on-the-suspension-and-replacement-of-the-chief-justice/

Has the US resolved their own constitutional issues that have led to a 6 week old government shutdown?

Methinks that should be a bigger issue for them now than meddling in Nigeria's affairs.

Nigeria isn't a vassal state of the US. We will resolve our political issues. You resolve yours.

Thank you America.

[b][b]Yes! It has started. The US Embassy is the voice of the US government and president in that country on issues of urgent concern. This impunity by buhari - believing he can do anything and get away with it and damn the millions of dissenting voices - must stop.

The US government (I trust Trump. He doesn't like buhari sef) should step up on this. Freeze all buhari and Osinbajo accounts and all cabinet members. Revoke their diplomatic visas and get UK, France and Germany to do same. Let's see where bubu will treat himself next cheesy.

In fact, they should stop buying Nigeria's oil and put an economic embargo on Nigeria. They should stop trading with bubu until his brain is reset and Atiku is sworn in. Let me see how bubu will survive.

Trump should also issue a stern warning to bubu about the next election, get thousands of election observers down here, and the EU and UK should do same. When Atiku wins on May 16, Trump, Theresa May, Emmanuel Macron and Angela Merkel should quickly recognize him as the president-elect before bubu gives further directions to Amina Zakaria and Tanko Mohammed.

If he remains obstinate, they should pressure Saraki and Dogara to get the despot impeached asap. This was never about fighting corruption. This is about the infancy of an African despot.

America should just mind themselves and stop unecessary interance in affairs of other nations, in the name of promoting democracy. they were not concerned that such a person as cjn abused his office and the constitution he is a custodian of. They were not concerned that such a person having admitted doing the wrong still refused to resign and sit tight to adjudicate over his matter. If it's in their country will the person last up to 24 hours in the office. Abeg make them pack well.

Is the CCT senior to the Court of Appeal that asked Buhari to stay action? Can you count the number of Courts whose orders Buhari has flouted, ECOWAS court inclusive? How come Buhari obeys the orders of a court under trial for criminal charges while asking My Lord, the Hon. CJ to resign on ground of Asset Declaration or are you unaware of the fact that the CCT president is facing charges?

Why US think they have a say in sovereign stetes. A corrupt individual cannot president over the law of the land. The man in question supposed to have resigned if he's a man of honour or if no ulterior motive.

US embassy is not Trump or Obama. It’s just like Nigerian Embassy in US issuing statement on the government shutdown. Is that not ridiculous? What concerns them with the government of the US? Is that what they are there for? US embassy or government has no power or say in another sovereign nations affairs. Not to talk of common embassy officials. This is not even a whitehouse statement.

Poo for you to think this way.....like seriously?

you mean you said all that?
