My experience today with SARS

I picked a rider somewhere in surulere he was heading to freedom way lekki,
As I started d trip and want to navigate out of lere police men stopped me

Me: good afternoon sir I am uber and on a trip
Officer: shut up and come down
Me: sir I just explained that m uber and on a trip
Officer: I said come down
Me: jejely come down
Officer: let that person at the back come down
Rider: came down jejely
Another police man took the rider away into their van
Officer : Mr uber end the trip and bring your phone
Me: oga is there any problem why did you want to check my phone before I finish d statement I got one five star slap at the back of my head.
My head enter 100% Celsius I confuse asap I just end d trip and gave him my phone he checked my phone after like 15minutes he told Me to tell the rider to pay me off so I can go.
Is it suppose to be like this, I don't really understand, if this is what SARS will be doing now, its going to be a big disaster.

Am back on the job no time to check time, but d slap enter
Only god knows what happened to d rider.
Las las we go sell this country

I laff @ those saying they won't drop dia phone, shey no b for dis country... Nigeria police is all about position, if you are in a place you know ppl will stand for you, do anyhow, deh will b d one to slowdown and leave. But if you are in a place where nobody cares and you can't match dia station, they will drag you into dia van, beat you mercilessly in d van and probably drop you on third mainland bridge. Ego and evil work hand in hand with men in black, just give them the damn phone and forget about right, even the CJN doesn't have right in Nigeria constitution

At that point those guys are not smiling bro, dey are ready for anything, I was well composed cos I know they don't see anything against me but they attitude and approach was brutal, to the extent they search the car looking for what's not missing, was just praying they don't put exhibit in d car and turn the story to another thing.

To those that don't know but want to know

If you are around Ikeja or ajao estate and you need to place a destination trip on uber and the app is not letting you, simply drive towards the airport area. Allow the app to place you on the queue, and then set your destination jeje without any hindrance and then drive out of airport area.

Works 99.9% of the time cool
