My Mom is now chatting again, with Mr and Mrs Igwe while am suppose to be chatting with Henry, but its not really chatting cause he is the one doing all the talking and am just nodding and looking around for Leo
"Are you looking for someone" He asked, oh he noticed
"no, not really" I gave him a sheepish smile
"ok, I was just telling you how I spent my christmas last year at, new york" he started again and I tuned him off, he is an egostical human being, I have just spents 1 hour with him and all he have been doing was talk about himself, thank God I won't be seeing him after tonight.
"wow its already past 11" I said, thank God so I will go home, am bored to death even with the non stop talking henry at my side
"Yea, how time flies, when you are having a good time" he said, is he sick, him and who had a good time, I just ignored him amd went to mom, I looked around once more and couldn't find Leo, its as if he disappeared.
"Where is that bodyguard of yours" Mom asked, I stiffened at the mention of bodyguard
"His name is Leo" I corrected my mom, she just dismissed me and asked me to call him, I would've done that ages ago if my phone was on, but its dead, I hardly charge my phone and I have never hated it as I hate it today
"Lets just go he might be where the car is" I said, I hope so, we said our farewell to Mr and Mrs Igwe and Henry before leaving.
I was right, for Leo was leaning on the car with his hands inside his pocket, his head hung low, he's no longer wearing his suit jacket, just the shirt and his tie is loose around his neck with his shirt sleeve folded. He looks like a supermodel I smiled but it faded when he looked at me with a blank look, not angry, sad, or happy face just blank like I don't stir any emotions from him and that is bad it made a bad taste formed in the pit of my stomach.

Its been a week since that party, Leo have changed, he is blank and that is scary, I don't even know how to communicate with him, every time he drive me to school he hardly talk, or reply my question with coldness, he never start up any conversation, am so scared.
Now two weeks still the same character, my Dad is back amd we are having real quality time, my semester will soon be over and then the holiday. This morning I got furious, I recieved a call and it was Henry I asked how he got my number, he sad it was mom, that half man couldn't ask me for the number himself. He asked me out and rudely turned him down, yes rudely cause am missing Leo.
third week still the same, now I hardly eat, I never knew he affects me like this, and Henry kept disturbing, I wish I can strangle him, I miss Leo calling me Kitty
"Henry said you don't want to hang out with him" my mom said, while we eat, so that half man went and told my mom
"Yes, I don't know him, and I have nothing to talk with him" I said,
"Don't worry hang out with him amd with time you will know him well, he is such a fine young man" My mom said almost in pleading form and I nodded. Today is my last day at school for this semester, so I want to use this opportunity and ask Leo whatsup.
When we got home my dad is sitting in the living room reading news paper, I went up to my room after greeting him, I rushed with my bath and came down to know if I can talk to Leo today.
"Jenifer, Leo will be going back today to stay with his family since your semest is over" Dad said and it crushed my heart, tears welled up in my eyes but I blinked it back. So I can't have the talk with him, that means when he come back we will be total stranger. I looked at him and he is not looking my way he still have that blank look
"Am home" Mom said as she walked inside
"Mom, welcome, I have made up my mind, I will go out with Henry" I said, I don't know y I said it, but for the very first time since the party Leo luked at me

When Leo left that day, I walked up to my room and cried myself to sleep, ignored the whole call that came into my phone. After a long sleep, I woke up and saw the message from Henry asking if am alright, atleast he cares, maybe he is not bad as I thought. I replied him and asked him to set the date on friday nex week, his reply was instant, he said thanks with lots of smiley face emoji
Its now friday, I have been feeling weak since Leo left, it felt like I broke up with a guy I have been dating for years, but am not even dating him, and Henry have been calling regularly but their is no butterflies or electricity, just nothing, but I already promised him the date so I have to go with him
"Are you alright" My mom asked for the millionth time and I nodded, "thats a nice pendant" she said as she touched the necklace Leo gave me that night before everything went wrong, its the only thing I cherish most now.
"Its a gift" I said slowly, before she could ask who got it, my dad came
"Henry is here" He said, perfect timing dad, cause I can't start explaining how its Leo that got it for me
"Bye" I said to the both as I walked out to meet a happy Henry.
"So lets go have fun" He said as we drove off, I hope so, I hope he can make me not think of Leo for just a seconds.
We arrived at the eatry, its nice we are sat at the corner, he ordered fried rice with chicken, am just taking ice cream, am a sucker for ice cream.
"Isn't that your bodyguard?" Henry said and I looked up to see Leo smiling with a girl, he is geniunely happy showing his dimple and fine features, I can only see the girls back, she is backing us while Leo is facing us if the girl was tall as Leo I wouldn't have seen Leo's face cause she would've blocked it. Leo looked up and saw me with Henry and his ever cute smile dropped.

We locked gaze for like 4 seconds before the girl that is making him laugh turned to like me, she looks like a teenager, she smiled and waved and I waved back, and she dragged Leo to our sit with us
"Hi, am Chidimma" she said happily, looking at her I know she is a nice girl, and I like her
"Am, Jenifer" I said, well I wouldn't have liked her if she wasn't Leo sister, she looks young like a 17 or 16 years girl and Leo said He is 6 years older, so adding the 6 to 16 or 17 that is 22 or 23 so his either one year older or my age mate, then why does he look to me that his 6 years older.
"Am Henry" Henry said, bringing me out from my calculation. I looked at Leo again to know why I thought his older, he looks the same age with Henry but Henry looks like a kid compared to him,
"Hi" Leo said with that deep voice, and i struck me, reason why I thought his Older was because of his voice, the authority in his aura, the way he appear strong and reliable all these things made me think his older.
"Jenifer, my brother have said a lot about you" Chidimma said, and Leo widens his eyes, I think he didn't want his sister to say it
"Really?" I asked and she nods, "then what did he say" I asked again, now my date is getting interesting.
"He...." before she could say anything Leo closed her mouth with his hand
"Thought, you are here for ice cream" He said to her, her sister then looked at me and smiled
"I think Leonard don't want me saying it" she said and Leo smacked her head
"call me Leonard one more time and no ice cream for you" he said with closed teeth, his anger is cute and I laughed, they all looked at me, he is showing emotions, not the blankness, this is the Leo I missed, my smiled died down, I looked at him and he smiled.

We are all eating and chatting, especially me and Chidimma, Leo and Henry were just quiet, well I don't care am so enjoying chidimma and her story of Leo embarrassing childhood moment
"When I was 10, and Leo is 16, Leo always sleepwalk then, so one night he woke up, walked straight to the kitchen and urinate in our pot of soup, mom caught him but he already pissed in the pot" she laugh and so did I, when I looked at Leo he looked away, awww my Leo is embarrased
She continued with her story, until its 5 and she said its time to go, she have something to do at home,
"Thank you, Jenifer for today and also letting Leo come home, he gave me the best weak, though he appear strong, he is not that strong so take care of him" she said, and I could feel the love and admiration she have for Leo, to her Leo is heaven.
"Sure I will" I said and she waved goodbye and left with Leo, once again I feel empty
"She talks too much" Henry said, and for the first time we got here I looked at him
"Don't say such abou my friend" I barked at him
"You can't be friends with that low life" he said with disgust. How can he look down on people like that, I guess I was right in calling him half man and wrong in thinking he is not bad.
"He is lucky your dad gave him a job as a bodyguard" He said and with that I stood up and left him there. I can't stay and watch him badmouth Leo, he's lucky I didn't slap him.
After walking for minutes I realized I don't know how to get home, and I didn't even bring any money with me to board bike or bus, so I did the only possible thing, I took out my phone and dailed his number, after two rings he picked up
"Hello" he deep voice came through the phone.

"What happened to your date" Leo said as he saw me standing by the corner
"Nothing, he was just being an ass" I said to him, he got here fast, does he live near, "you came fast" I stated and he took a long breath in and out,
"I thought you were in danger so I rushed over" he said, how cute "do you want me to go straighten him up" he said,
"don't worry, I already did that" I said with a smile "just take me home" I said and he scratched the back of his head
"I ran, I gave my sister my wallet, you see when you called I was on the bus with her so I just came down and she was with my wallet" he said looking down, so I can make him so disoriented like this, or was it just because he's my bodyguard, any way am glad he came
"Then lets start walking home" I said and his eye widened
"Why not call your parents, walking home is going to take like an hour" he said
"No I won't and I feel like walking" don't really like walking but I really want him close
"k but am not backing you" he stated and started walking and I followed
After walking a while with an uncomfortable silence I decided to breaking the silent
"Why" I asked, I hope he understands am asking why as to his sudden change of behaviour. He stopped and looked up before continue walking
"You remembered the night I came back with injury?" he asked,
"Yes" of course I will, he nearly kissed me that day
"You made my heart raced, so I received the call, it was about a guy that owe me, so I left to meet him and take my money, I wasn't suppose to fight, I could've walked away when he provoked me, but I didn't I started fighting him, cause I thought the pain, will make me forget what you do to my heart" he said looking at him, so I affect him this much

"Did the pain help" I asked barely above a whisper
"Nop, it didn't as day goes everything intensified, I was lost, then that day at the party, I was reminded once again, that am nothing but a bodyguard, so I had to stop my heart from the reaction it gives whenever you are close, I had to come out from my dream world and face the reality" he said and exhaled
So this is why He have been acting like this, his trying to feel nothing for me, I don't know how to react to this, should I thank him for handling the situation, cause I know if we both acted on he feelings my parents will be angry, or should I smack his head for killing the feelings he had
"You're much more than a bodyguard" I said the only thing I can, and he nodded and we continue walking in silent, both of us lost in our thought.
Its just a few miles to house and am damn tired, I could've asked him to back me but he said he won't earlier and he must be tired too, its night already, I wonder if Henry called my parents, well I think he didn't cause if he did they would've called me.
"Get on" Leo said, crouched down in front of me, I tried to refuse but he insisted and the fact he always have a power over me I got on his back. I held on tighter as his warmth covered me, I missed this.
"get down we are here" he said as we approached house, so soon I wanted it to last longer, he tried to leave and I held on to him
"Stay" I said with dried throat, at least let me have him for today, I no am being greedy that his sister want him, and we won't always get what we want but fate just for today make him stay.
He took me by the hands and we walked inside, my heart rejoiced with and uncontrollable happiness for he agreed to stay, I know things will be different starting from tomorrow.

When we came inside the house my parents were already asleep in their room, what a parents that sleep when their only child is still outside. Am currently on my bed and I can't sleep, My feelings went deeper when I realize that he feels the same way but am hurt that he want to discard it.
I looked at the time, its already 1 am and I still can't sleep, I stood up to play a slow music, I remembered I left my phone downstairs so I made my way downstairs to go retrieve it, little did I know what awaits me there.
"Leo?" I said as I saw him standing in the sitting room
"What are you doing here" he asked as he saw me,
"I came to collect my phone" I said, I blushed as I felt his eyes move all over my body, am currently wearing the pink night gown mom bought.
He picked the phone and walked straight to me slowly
"I tried, I fought, but am not strong enough kitty" He said, hmm I have waited ages to hear him call me that
"I don't want you to fight or be strong, you are already my Lion" I said breathless is he invade my personal space.
"Kitty" he said barely above a whisper
"Yes" I answered and with that he smashed his lips on mine, the ecstasy was beyond my imagination, the tingles the electricity, it wasn't just butterfly its fireworks. I have kissed before but never have I felt lost in a kiss like this before, I held on to him cause my legs are weak and I can barely stand, our lips moved in sync, he pulled me impossibly closer, my feet curled up from the sweet pleasure, I want more so I took more, I kissed like my life depended on it.
The kiss wasn't slow and gentle, its was furious passionate kiss that showed the hunger we have for each other, after the kiss we pulled apart to catch our breath

After the kiss I went to my room so happy, part of me still think its a dream, I kept touching my lips, hope its not a dream. I woke up early cause of the noise from downstairs, I checked the time its barely past 6 so I walked down and saw my parents all dress up saying something to Leo, seeing made the memory from last night surface and I blushed
"Princess" my mom called and I came to their side
"sorry to woke you, am travelling down to the village with your mom, its just village thing" Dad said
"ok, so you will soon be back" I asked
"No, we will be travelling from there" the both said, my parents behave like teenager in love, I know they are travelling together just for fun.
"Ok, have fun" I said, I really want them out, then I will have all the time with my Leo.
"Do take care of our princess" My mom ordered and he nodded, he threw me a side glance, I smiled but he didn't, wow so last night might actually be a dream, thats so hurtful.
"We will take our leave" said my dad as they both left. Now silent fall over the house since neither Leo nor I spoke, and am now confuse if last night actually happened. If it didn't that means he will just still go back to his blank emotion, it hurts to think that. pls Leo don't kill the feelings you have for me, I kept pleading to him in my mind and wish the message can travel to him magically. Since the mind apology am trying to send to him isn't working, I took the courage to turn and tell him my mind.

As I turn to look at him, with the most pleading look I can show, he looked at me with amusement, not blank look, he smiled
"Kitty, with that look of yours, don't blame me for my actions" He said with hint of amusement, so last night actually happens, now am delirious "You know when you look at me with those eyes and with that body of yours, I can loose my sense of reasoning and do something bad" he said coming closer.
I rushed towards him, who cares about his action, all I care about right now is kissing him and I did just that. I kissed him with the same hunger of last night, I clinged on to him he grabbed me, I lifted myself up and wrapped my legs around him, his body is strong and hard against my soft skin, the fireworks increased this time, I wonder if this how our every kiss will be
