Atiku doesn't have natural followers in the north... The people you see today are people that have been supporting this man since ... He's a CULT like hero... Even the Islamic prayer rendered for him has a lot of powerful meaning and the crowd where gladly saying AMIN... Even Nnamdi Kanus sit at home order in his own state of abia was ignored as the stadium for the rally was packed full. Is it Ebonyi? Cross river? Anambra? IMO? Enugu? I can categorically tell you that the APC votes in Kano will just be a little above PDP's Kano votes, that's if APC wins Kano in the first place. Now let's take a look at Rivers state. The state is predominantly a PDP state. Rivers gave PDP 1.4 million votes in 2015, close to 1.5 million. While APC only got 69 thousand + votes in Rivers. My point? Apc's strongest state is Kano, while PDP's strongest state is Rivers. Going by recent appenings, PDP will sure get above 25% votes in APC's strongest state which is Kano and APC don't stand a chance in Rivers (PDP's strongest state).... Which is already a win win for PDP. I rarely comment on this forum anymore simply because the Atiku's guys here are so funny and delusional. Imagine those guys saying Atiku would garner up to 45% of votes in Kano and some even going as far as saying Atiku would not only garner 45% of votes in Kano but also defeat Buhari in Kano, Sokoto, Bauchi and Gombe! Is that not laughable? In 2011, Shekarau was the Incumbent Governor of Kano State under ANPP and Kwankwaso and Ganduje were in PDP and were even the PDP Guber. and Deputy Governorship candidates respectively. Buhari contested the Presidency under a relatively unknown party, CPC and still had 1.6m votes in Kano State, while Kwankwaso and Ganduje were only able to give GEJ 400K plus votes and the Incumbent Governor, Shekarau, was only able to poll about 500k votes. What does that imply? Buhari doesn't need any political bigwig in Kano to win elections there. Lest I forget, the likes of Shekarau and Ganduje are now with Buhari. It is sad to believe that in a country of 200 million, the best we can get as president is a man little more lively than a corpse. To those chanting Buhari, I ask: what has he done for you.?
