Danielnino00:I guess this season isnt a nigerian season atall. Funny enough, the coaching staff hace never been heard of working on improving iwobi in his weaknesses. Meaning the coach isnt even worried about what or what not he offers, other than his chance creation and dribbling. |

Earthquake1:Well on twitter, they are roasting iwobi and emery together. why play him in a def setup all cos he is the only forward that tracks back to def compared to laca and auba? |

In the last few games, Iwobi has consistently been amongst Arsenal's best player. Silence!! One bad game and everyone comes with their daggers. Last week, he changed the game for Arsenal, no comments. He was Arsenal's best player against Liverpool, silience. The boy can not win.. Everyone is waiting for a mistake or a poor game to crucify him. |

Mickael2:I don't think Ozil can start any game again.Do you know why? Because he is lazy. With what you wrote above ,why doesn't Suarez get game time at barca? |

edi287:God bless you for this. I am not defending iwobi, but lets be sincere, he and kola on that left wing have created 80% of the chances that were converted as goals. Remove these two from arsenal and you would have a championship team with two world class strikers that touch the ball less than 10times in 90mins. the whole arsenal midfield are waste. |

Iwobi is not an average player. He is above average. If Ozil had made the pass that Iwobi gave to Kolasinac in the last game. We would not have heard the last of it. The boy is good but he definitely has things to work on. |

daveP:That's the truth of the matter. Till Arsenal stops been stingy and spend big on a winger - Iwobi will keep getting games under Emery. Arsenal fans better get used to it. Dude is still young and will improve. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by edi287: 8:34pm On Feb 03, 2019 |
mostob:Both have not gotten a consistent run of games. They are our two most talented midfielders yet Emery is picking "hardwork and industry" over quality. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Nobody: 8:35pm On Feb 03, 2019 |
daveP:Iwobi and Kolasinac has been Arsenal's driving force this season in terms of creating chances but people are just waiting for the boy to have a poor game. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by daveP(m): 8:36pm On Feb 03, 2019 |
Mickael2:These are defensive minded midfielders you mentioned, thats why i said the middle have serious issues that would get punished by big teams. dunnow hich game it was in November, but Guen and Torreira with Niles kept passing the ball to each other at the halfline with othe opp team just sitting back and defending. They gave Arsenal a 73% ball possesion. just two of them!!! I dont need such eyesore display when you should be cracking down defences instead of waiting for them to move a bad leg or make some school boy errors. Thats my issue with this team. Iwobi would continue to be worshipped until another dribbler comes into the team. thats just it!! |

tbaba1234:What did you expect after the club toyed with the fans emotions with their failed moves for Perisic and Carrasco?? There are fans who blame him for Ox leaving and even to the extent of claiming he was the reason Wenger didn't sign the likes of Draxler when he was available. Iwobi himself needs to realize this is what it means to play for a big club. |

tbaba1234:You are as good as your last match bro Aside the Fulhams and Huddersfields, every body knows the true test of Arsenal was going to be this game and individuals are going to be assessed by this game Iwobi dissapointed really |

edi287:What about last season, were they not starters, tell me there contributions. Ozil is earning 350k per week and he always get ridiculous excuses when big game is approaching. His body language at times is just..... |

tbaba1234:Dude a game against Blackpool and Fulham are not a game against Mancity |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by daveP(m): 8:41pm On Feb 03, 2019 |
edi287:All these tacticians that want finushed products sef. Why cant Iwobi be worked on? it beats me. why? at least to make fans know you are doing something really positive. But Emery prefers to send beef and kill fish in the pitch when its not the sea. He may nit have the players, but he gats work on what he has. At least Wenger did that. |

Earthquake1:Man city game? full test? I beg to disagree bro. Most arsenal fans already rules out arsenal's victory with those defensive injury crises. |

tbaba1234:Thanks for this fact. I dunno, but cant people see that its been long Arsenal drive right thru the middle that has midfielders to get a goal? Its always Iwobi's left angle. always, and then the goal comes. Kola had 3shots in the first half. more shots than Auba and laca combined. This simply translates to a non existent midfield. Very non existent. i wonder if arsenal fans would wake up and know that they cant continue to blame woes on this young boy that is the only dribbler in the team. nobody sees the lazy body language of Aubamayang cos he is the top scorer. Nobody sees the indecision of Guen when he reaches the box or way in his own half with only a defender behind him. No one would see that. Torreira is running and running, thats all i see. |

mostob:Suarez used to get game time last season. But this season you have Malcolm and Coutinho as the first players of the bench, there is no way he is getting into that team. But his quality isn't the problem at all |

mostob:Ozil admittedly fell off after he signed his new deal. Before that, he was one of our best players. Same with Ramsey too. Club is just punishing him for taking his time with that new deal. |

daveP:Forget Emery...dude himself doesn't like or know how to manage big players. Iwobi isn't leaving anytime soon anyway so all this talk is just pointless. Sad thing is I don't see much of a difference between now and last season. This isn't what Wenger was sacked for... |

mostob:Do you trust the club to replace those two adequately?? See the pipes Emery is getting linked to...Nkunku, etc. I'd be disappointed if Denis Suarez ends up being Ramsey's replacement. |
