oga no talk this one here o. When Suarez siddon adapt to epl tempo you can start to say what he offers on the "epl table" is more than what iwobi offers. Thats my take on this o.

Epl is diff even if this guy was at man city years back, this was his official debut.

Which Epl tempo ? Mtscheew

Suarez is coming from the best league in the world so stop making Epl special

Suarez can't make city team because there are betters players than him

Forget Emery...dude himself doesn't like or know how to manage big players. Iwobi isn't leaving anytime soon anyway so all this talk is just pointless.
Sad thing is I don't see much of a difference between now and last season. This isn't what Wenger was sacked for...
I wonder how he motivates in that dressing room sef.

le prof is the yardstick for now, until something new is done.

Iwobi is a better ball carrier imo while Suarez is more technically gifted.
Arsenal just wasted their time in this transfer window. At the end of the day - Iwobi is still the only one that can drive into the opposition's box.

Agreed

By 'plastic' you mean sincere and realistic? We have passed the stage of 'Iheanacho had a decent game'

Now iwobi is the target

I have recently come to conclusion that ndidi is currently the best super Eagles player worldwide.

I concur. We need to take a long hard look at our midfield and back four positions. Mikel won't play for forever and Bolagun is getting up there in age self.

I still believe in Iwobi though, that guy has massive potential, he just needs to be more consistent.

God bless you for this.

I am not defending iwobi, but lets be sincere, he and kola on that left wing have created 80% of the chances that were converted as goals. Remove these two from arsenal and you would have a championship team with two world class strikers that touch the ball less than 10times in 90mins. the whole arsenal midfield are waste.

Thank you. Also, did anyone notice that as soon as Iwobi left the field, David Silva had acres of space to cause damage. It was just that we did not take our chances.

People are tagging Iwobi as poor but there was something which he did well. His work rate was high and he helped the defence a lot.

I do not think it was a case of Iwobi being poor but Manchester City having a phenomenal game. They were brilliant today.

The cry for Ozil and Ramsey is another misconception. These guys can not play with the kind of intensity Emery wants. Apart from Toreira and Guendozi, Iwobi was the person I noticed in the Arsenal side put phenomenal work rate.

Apart from Toreira and Guendozi, the whole team looked average. I think that is enough sign to cut Iwobi some slack.

Finally, Dennis Suarez could not cause much damage too.

Get the point people are tagging Iwobi as average because he was not fantastic in the game today. The likes of Lacazette and Aubameyang were also poor in the game. Does it mean they are average players?

Sometimes you quit critiquing and praise the brilliant performance of the opposing team.

Cristiano Ronaldo was the best player in the World when he met Barcelona in the Champions league finals. He was poor in that game. Does it mean CR7 was an average player then?

Finito.

Alex Iwobi underwhelms as Manchester City defeat Arsenal

The winger's carelessness helped to have his side a goal down after just 48 seconds at the Etihad

Manchester City delivered a commanding performance to defeat Arsenal 3-1 in Sunday's Premier League encounter, and more worrying was Alex Iwobi's performance.

After coming off the bench to influence the Gunners' win over Cardiff City in their last league outing, Unai Emery restored the Nigeria international into his starting line-up, playing on the right wing in the attack of a 3-4-3 formation.

City were expected to dominate proceeding and more defending and discipline would have been required of Emery's attacking trio, but Iwobi's input in the rearguard was all but assured.

The 22-year-old was dispossessed by Aymeric Laporte on the edge of the box - as Arsenal sought to clear their lines - before the ball was worked to Aguero who converted with a diving header.

10 minutes later, against the run of play, captain Laurent Koscielny restored Arsenal's pride, heading off a corner kick.

Pep Guardiola's side went into the break with a lead, though, as Aguero scored off a well-worked move from the right side of the visitors' defence.

The Argentine claimed his hat-trick after the restart, with the majority of the work coming off Arsenal's overexploited right wing.

Iwobi - who won only 27.3% of his duels - also failed to inspire any confidence in Arsenal's attack, registering no shot and attempted just 18 passes

How many percentage duels did Lacazette win or it is only Iwobi that played today? What of Aubameyang?

That is definitely not true today. Arsenal is far from a decent team. A team does not choose to have a casual game. Arsenal were casual because of the brilliant play of City.

We have been more impressive than Liverpool in two games this season. Are you saying Liverpool were casual too?

Have you not seen two teams in phenomenal form battling it out on the pitch?

Does it mean that if one side is good it reduces the play of the other side (like a balance)

Theoritically you are saying that David Silva and co are responsible for Iwobi's sloppy performance

Not exactly sure why you are bringing in the game against Liverpool because I never made mention of it, way way off the mark.

Today was definitely not one of City's better games, everybody saw that perfectly well, except you just because you want to support Iwobi, funny.

I said I disagree with you. We were on top of the game most of the match and most teams will not come close and will be tucked in their defence unlike Arsenal. The point is Iwobi is an average player if he cannot get into Man City's bench. Suarez was an academy player at Man City how exactly did you expect him to break in? I will not even talk about the other players because it is obvious you are missing the point.
I have no business with these other players, I pointed out that if Arsenal wants to finish in the top 6 then Iwobi should not be a starter, do you disagree?

Arsenal performed poorly and Iwobi (being the center of discussion as a SE player) was awful
