I wasn't offered any scholarship cos I applied late but from what I saw, the tuition isn t so high. The first instalment is €156. I just want to get my credentials authenticated and translated so I can start the visa application process. The whole process is still kinda confusing to me.

Did the school ask you to pay 30 euros as application fee? Secondly, were you interviewed via Skype before granted admission?

€3000 is enough for them for 2weeks. I doubt if you will end up spending half of it. Is better you keep it in your bank account because most countries operate cashless and 9ja immigration service fit even collect €500 from you once they see that you are travelling with raw cash

Hello everyone, I'm new to this. I intend pursuing masters for fall 2019 at the University of Trieste. I need answers to some important questions below.

1. Will they take my 2:2 3.0/5 CGPPA for masters in computer science? Anyone has successfully gotten admission here with that kind result. On their website, they require 80/110.
2. Will I need an English test to get an admission or it is waived for us since our language of instruction is English? On their website, the requirement for English is a B2. What does this mean? O Level?
3. What is the minimum SOA balance necessary for a student visa? My course is relatively cheap though.
4. How much will I spend on translation and legalizations of all my documents? I read it takes up to 3 months.
5. How long will the whole visa process take? Applications will be open by March 2019. Will I have to translate and legalize all my docs before then so as to apply early enough?

Please people who are currently studying at Trieste. I will need your inputs as well so as to know what to expect.

Thanks so much in anticipation.

Congrats! I believe you have already done the first part of legalisation at the federal ministries of education and foreign affairs Abuja. If yes, the final legalisation and pre-enrollment at the Italian consulate cost me about 35k for a master's program last year.

Did you do both of them at the same time (I mean legalization and pre enrolment ) If No, how much does pre enrolment cost and how much does legalization cost? Pls what are the EXACT documents that you translated and which ones did you take to the embaszy for LEGALIZATION AND PRE ENROLMENT.

I did the legalization and pre-enrollment at the same time to safe myself the stress of booking another appointment. I don't remember the cost for each. I translated my Bsc cert and transcript, O'level cert and testimonial, pry sch cert, NPC birth affidavit, Sworn declaration of age; and submitted to the consulate, the originals, all the Abuja legalized copies, all the translated copies, photocopies of each of Abuja legalized doc; and 2 passport-size photograph. I'll advise you to check the consulate website for any updates. Goodluck!

Well, they requested for the primary sch cert during my own time despite going for a master's program, though they might decide not to consider that this year. I don't think pre-enrollment can be done without an admission letter but you can just give it a shot during the legalization by making sure you print and go with the pre-enrollment form (you can find it on their website). They legalized my docs within one month. To get the DOV, you need to scan and send all legalized docs and pre-enrollment form from the Consulate to your Italian university; and immediately request the university to inform the Consulate that they have received it. With that done, your DOV should be ready in less than a month. Everything I have written here is exactly what I did, but it doesn't necessarily mean the procedure for this year will be exactly the same. Again, always check the Consulate website for updates. Goodluck!

Upon the submission of the docs to the university and the university infoms the embassy to affirm the receipt of the documents; who then issues the DOV the University or the Embassy?

How do I collect the docs after been Legalized; do I need to book an appointment for that also?

The Consulate issues the DOV. You need to book an appointment for collection of the legalized docs from the Consulate. Don't forget that you will also need another appointment to collect your DOV.

During the submission of my docs for legalization, they told me when to come for the collection and I was able to get it within the time given. I sent them an email after about one month that I applied for the DOV and they responded that they had been trying my number to tell me to come for the collection. So, I would advise you to book your appointments for the two collection sessions based on the time they tell you that your docs will be ready.
