Hi, please I need clarification as I'm considering possible scenarios. Medicals are due to expire in 2 months, even if PPR and COPR are issued within this time, chances of landing before expiration of medicals are very slim at this point. If asked to redo medicals (which hasn't been asked yet), is there a way to fast track this process? Will it be just a case of walking into any of the chosen physicians for this or one has to go through the long process of booking and is the amount to redo medicals same as the initial amount paid?
Thanks

You'd be doing basically the same thing. No discount/preferential treatment. You'll have to book in accordance with the physician of your choice. The most you can do to hasten the process is to emotionally appeal to the physician clinic.

Documents submitted

1. Marriage certificate
2. Employer's reference letter (CIC) standard,
3. Her SOA
4. Letter of no indebtedness for her credit card.
5. My 6months SOA from two banks (this is because I transferred bulk amount from my GTB to Stanbic-IBTC to makeup the amount there.
6. TB certificate
7. Letter of no indebtedness from GTB (Stanbic-IBTC no gree give me this one).
8. Gift deed from parents.
9. Letter of no objection from me.
10. Her MSc.
11. Our PCC (note she didn't use Canadian PCC, both are done here in Nigeria).
12. LOE (we used this basically for clarification, like explaining the over lapping dates in my history, etc).

We entered 1P2 from day one of AOR

ADR: 5th December, 2018. and submitted 7th December, 2018. This showed NA just few hours after upload. Later changed to "we're reviewing the additional document you provided" around 25th January, 2019.

NB. We ain't sure why the ADR cos we had submitted same letter that was requested. Although the 1st letter of consent from me wasn't notarized. We had to notarize it and resubmitted same.

It wasn't easy for us. My wife (Sweetgirl, as I humbly call her) travelled since August 2017 for study. We were dealing with staying alone without each other, which was unexplainable. To make the matter worse, we lost my job on March 2018 and my side hustle wasn't steady. Well you can only imagine the emotional trauma.
At a point, around early December last year "i" stopped checking our CIC account, nairaland and even Facebook group page. This is because "I" needed to take my mind off this and handed it over to God.

Wait a minute, did we tell you that it affected my health?
Oh yes, it did. No wife, No work and No PPR. Chaii! It's well.

When she informed me that our application has been approved with the recorded call she made with IRCC agent, I didn't understand it honestly, but after some time while on the video call with her, I found myself dropping tears. cry cry cry

After about 2hours from the time she called CIC on the said 31th January, 2019, at about 17:32pm GMT, THE GOLDEN EMAIL DROPPED. grin grin grin
Na so your brother in the Lord lost it in praise, no key, no Davidic note or octave your brother no sing that day ooo! grin grin grin

We ordered GCMS note which should be due by 15th of this month. Well they can keep it and also the change. Lol!
Anyways, the GCMS note was at 0$ cos it's free when you apply from Canada.

Well from our experience and other people's experiences, I can say that the preparation, application processing duration and positive outcome is all by God's Grace 100%.

However, please make the work easy for the VO by submitting a simple but detailed documents.

I only wish we all will continue this way in Canada by sharing information without bringing our Nigerianess along.
Na so Chinko people take dominate Canny-land ooo.

To all those still considering starting the process, please take a leap of faith IF IT'S GOD'S WILL FOR YOU. ECA (WES) dey call your name o.

To all those battling IELTS, please don't give up. One more try can change the story.

To all those in the pool, please open your arms to accept ITA

To all those gathering documents + POF issh. Please don't worry trust me, the way God will do it will surprise you.

To the Masters waiting for the GOLDEN EMAIL, please start writing your timeline cos you're the next.

And for those still hanging in Ghana VO, God has started breaking the jinx. Expect PPR rain from GHANA soon.

All these I humbly pray and ask in Jesus Name. Amen!

IT ENDED IN PRAISE.
YOURS SHALL END IN PRAISE TOO. AMEN!

We thank God that it has ended in praise. Go and prosper in your new home

Hello guys,
Please, I was told that WES doesn't require waec result to complete evaluation, so I didn't budget for it. Now, I just received email requesting it. Should I use the fax option? If it will be accepted how does it work? Thank you.

Thank you very much for your reply, the maximum I have is 2yrs+ in one of the companies, the rest are less. And I'm also worried that the company is a small firm Both the other and my own companies are small scale... I repair and sell phones and computers and peripherals , with no online presence, I don't either, where would I get free money to host a website? Are you kidding me? is that going to be a problem? I don't think so. Maybe them trying to verify it and all? Well, provide receipts, CAC docs, reference from customers, update your Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts.

Good luck.

Thank you very much.

Thanks for your response. This is so annoying especially when it's not the applicants fault. All plans thrown to the winds. Didn't mind the delay before but it's beginning to wear me out. AVO really needs to do better.

Hi,

Just thought to add this, If you have PHRi or SPHRi as a certification, you can get the CPHR certification through the international path (non resident) without writing any exams at all. All you need to do is send CPHRBC your certificates and proof of PHRi/SPHRi certification, your CV showing that you have at least 3 years HR experience and you'll get it without hassles.

This was how I got my CPHR certification.

It is important to note that the CPHR certification is recognized in all provinces in canada except Ontario, Ontario has its own certification different from CPHR which I guess was what the other lady got.

Chirolechick:
I’m waiting for her response also, if it’s same as CPHR you do not need to take the NKE exams since you have M.sc, I’m going through the masters path and I’ve writtten to them, they requested for WES course by course evaluation report and transcript, then they will waive the exams for me, I’m in the process of upgrading my ECA, before i send to them, you can try and contact them too. See attached the various paths. Please note that you must have minimum of 3 yrs HR experience to qualify for waiver. See attached

Thanks for the information. Will it add extra points to the EE process?

Unfortunately No. However, it would be an added advantage when you land and start searching for a job.

It's part of the planning process basically.

UNN is online, you don’t need to know anyone, you’ll pay online and they’ll email you when it is being dispatched and send you a tracking number, same for the verification stage, however you won’t be notified when the verification has taken place, you’ll see the update in your account
