the same thing with me, I have went to pvc collection center more than 10 times since October last year and they keep postponing it.
I just came back from there frustrated cuz I believe all hope of voting is gone.
am suspecting it is a deliberate attempt to disenfranchise those of us from the southern hemisphere.
but they will be put to shame

As you alluded to you are not alone in this disenfranchisement by the electoral umpire called INEC. I registered in 2011 as well, went to to the local government area of my registration for collection of my PVC sometimes in October last year and was told they are to busy to attend to me that day. I latter went to their office in my present place of residence for a transfer of my polling unit only to be told that is already late.
Myself been someone who hates unnecessary bureaucracy had left INEC to continue with their mediocrity which the entire country is known for

The hell I went through during the voters pre-registration was enough to discourage me from obtaining my permanent voters' card. I even tried to grease the palm of one of the INEC officials (yes I'm telling you what I felt I had to do to ease the stress of the entire process) but, sensing that people may see him taking a tip, he said, "Not here" quietly to me.

It was at the same Alimosho Local Govt. at Ikotun.

OP my story yesterday is different from yours.

I collected my PVC yesterday from the same guy. He recognized me but was not quite sure where he met me. Money can indeed improve memory.

There are so many reasons why a person will not be able to collect their PVC at the time of distribution.

Whatever it is, once the PVC is printed by INEC, it should be at the collection center till the person comes for it.

This is true. My colleague went to collect his PVC now, as in JUST NOW and he was told his card has not been printed. imagine!!!!!

All those saying INEC wants to rig for APc, Biko how do INEC identify party members. I admit that the process down south is hectic however must we wait for last minute

You cannot hear complain of northeners not being able to collect their PVC.Even underage children have a PVC.Why is it different in the south and east?And nobody is raising an alarm.

Same here. Registered in 2017 October.... I was told that my pvc is "not ready "

I understand that. But given that this is Nigeria and records are hardly kept for long, he ought to have gone there when the window for registration was still open, so in case of any anomaly, he could reapply. Why wait till few weeks to election?

It's all part of the grand rigging plan!

The OP should just forget collecting his PVC as it's either been handed over to some APC politician by compromised INEC staff, or they've gathered some of the PVCs they think may vote for PDP/Atiku (those with southern or Igbo names) and chucked them in the dustbin!

It is mostly those in the South and those of Southern extraction that have this issue.

This your allegation dey as he be,Am I also from the south? I have to go to inec office today in Kaduna my area to collect mine and the same problem with that inec did not bring my PVC I should go back next week ,must we sideline in every issue that arise would that possibly benefit us in one way or the other,the problem is all over the country the simple reason is we mostly take our issues personal not to be ranting online that won't solve our problem..

I registered April 2017 went to their office September and the lady that is in charge of my ward told me my PVC isn't ready, early 2018 the same excuses,i went October 2018 meant another lady who checked for me and told me my PVC as be ready since 2017 for collection.

Names like ugochukwu,kenneth,and sometimes seyi are difficult to get their.But adamu,yusuf,musa and buhari are all getting theirs without hitches.

me too I was unable to collect mine reason is that it's been transferred to my village head and my village head is saying inec no give am any voters card na no them just dey turn me up Nd down

I am yet to collect mine too. Since 2017 I registered o. Painful I won't be able to vote
