Maestro001: Apply and come back here to tell us the outcome. I still maintain my initial comment, it does not show any progress and you are likely to be refused. |

Maestro001:Yes someone might get approved with the profile you cited but it only take the grace of God for such profile to scale through. People from other clime may not have issues with that but for Nigerian applicants, it is a big problem Let us call a spade a spade |

042viber12:Owing to your pointers;as per the tuition fee which is 12kCAD;the requires me to pay half of it after I get the study permit and half is 6kCad which should be about 1.7m plus the 10kCAD(2.7m) which manes a total of 4.4m or more will be deposited into my account;(mind you I still got 1.7m in there)which makes it about 6m plus;I hope this helps? Also with the other home ties aside employent prospects ;this is what I wrote on my SOP: My siblings (mentioned there names) who have raised and supported me throughout my life pursuit are currently residents at (gave details of their various addresses with their respective names). • I can’t wait to travel home on completion of my programme because with such enviable skills obtained on completion of the programme together with my previous skills, it is obvious that I will inevitably gain from the wide range of opportunities awaiting me on return to Nigeria. What’s your take on that ? Lastly,I think the paper can be linked online;if I’m not mistaken ;so it’ still gives a detailed progression of the application;but either ways ;the God factor still comes into play in terms of Visa approval. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Maestro001: 6:27pm On Feb 08, 2019 |
justwise:I am not the principal applicant;besides I’m only letting out the simple fact as a witness to such approval which debunks your earlier statement . Anyways what do I know ;you are still the guru and I’m a learner (Take the lead elder) |

TrustAllah:I quite agree that it takes the grace of God to make it happen and for the records;my friend is a Nigerian just as I am. Proper documentation+God’s grace=Visa approval |

Maestro001:It is generally recommended that there is a career progression IF you are applying from Nigeria. However, there would always be exceptions due to context, Grace (for the religious folks), applicant's LOE or discretion of the VO. Once you step foot in Canada, you don't need to worry about Career progression. You can do two 1 year programs (same level) and once you are done, you apply for PGWP. P.S This is for all students coming to Canada. As a student you are allowed to work ON and OFF campus OFF Campus = Max of 20 hours (some companies give you about 22 hours, depends on the shift) ON Campus = Unlimited hours, although getting campus jobs could be challenging. This means you can work more than 20 hours as a student if you can get ON campus job that does not clash with your time table while doing off campus jobs. |

Maestro001:That is fine but need more like wat are those opportunities, using mine form example am going for a course in energy management, I studied electrical engineering. I explained that I am into solar panel installations and since Nigeria has this major problem in power, entrepreneurs seeing solar power as a possible solution and that's my plan to gain the knowledge and venture into that..which entails job creation, improving the economy etc.. |

| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by JustMellow: 8:24pm On Feb 08, 2019 |
042viber12:not true bro.. rather it has undermining effects towards the applicant's app for the VO to assume of the applicant not returning back home after studies |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Nobody: 8:31pm On Feb 08, 2019 |
JustMellow:Yes, I was made to know that...thanks for the correction |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Nobody: 8:33pm On Feb 08, 2019 |
Jiggsbaby:I think your friend needs to explain wat he has been doing during the study gap...but it doesn't stop him from getting his visa..just needs to explain why he wasn't in school at the time he was meant to be in school.. |

Hello house, i have read so many comments here, and did a research on a school I can apply to, yet I couldn't come up with any positive results as d fees are relatively high for accounting related courses, pls I ll like a suggestion on a school with low tuition fees that I can apply to and get admission as I ve bn a victim of an agent who collected so much money from me and later told me I wasn't given admission in all d 5 schools he applied to on my behalf. I graduated with a 2.2 in Bsc Accounting, 10 years working experience in a state internal revenue service. And can I go for a Pgd? Is it also possible I go for a course that is not related to accounting? I also have 2 years diploma in social work. Pls house I need help |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by damidam(f): 10:40pm On Feb 08, 2019 |
tiobani:sorry about your encounter with the agents. When doing my research about canadian schools with masters in accounting or accountancy i noticed the fee is relatively high and the schools that offer them are kinda few too. Memorial university has a masters of science in management course and the tuition is affordable, university of ottawa has the same course too and it affordable too. All you have to do is go to the each of the university website and check for the program requirement and what the program is all about for you to have an understanding on what it really is. |

042viber12:It is evident that Nigeria, my country of citizenship has one of the largest markets in the oil and gas industry, with several on-going and proposed future projects incorporating pipeline engineers with skilled knowledge in pipeline welding inspection and quality control. As Nigeria does not have any institution of learning, where skills in pipeline engineering are being imparted to scholars, there is a shortage of qualified personnel with such additional skills in welding inspection and quality, hence the qualification I will obtain, will place me among the team of experts whose demands are inevitable in the fast growing oil and gas industry in my home country. Owing to this fact, On completion of my proposed programme, I intend to establish an excellent career in pipeline construction and integrity, with special interest in defect assessment, pipeline welding processes and welding inspection, using non-destructive tests (NDT) techniques relevant to the appropriate international codes and standards, such as ASME, CSA, BS and API. This will place me among the team of experts whose demands are inevitable in the lucrative pipeline industry in my home country Nigeria. How would you rate this ?? |

nua07:It doesn't necessarily matter, many applicants has gotten a positive decision without submitting the tax clearance certificate. In my opinion, the submitted tax receipt would also suffice but if you need to satiate your curiosity, send via the web form and email directly to Nairobi since you already know the VO processing your app. BTW what route did you apply via? |
