Don't be too hasty in coming up with this breaking news, let's wait for the Monday Supreme Court Judgement which will decide if APC will be in the ballot or not.
Some of these newspapers headlines could be so misleading.

That is not true as the supreme Court only ruled on the legal representation and not primaries.

All the news papers i read said that APC primaries are null and void. When the primaries are cancilled. what do you think is the implication? Will INEC give APC chance to conduct another primary election? The answer is NO! Therefore, APC will NOT and NEVER participate in genaral elections this 2019 in Rivers state, except presidential election.

In as much as we would have love either APC or PDP to be banned from contesting in Rivers State so there can be a violent free and bloodless election, your picture of the Supreme court ruling is not completely correct. All media houses carried an unverified news the wasnt totally true. The Supreme court never banned APC from contesting on Friday (at least Not Yet). They only upheld Justice Chiwendu's Court and ruled on the authentic Legal Representation (Lawyer) which favoured Magnus Faction. You can say Tonye might have lost out completely But Magnus faction still has a little hope pending next Monday's Supreme Court Ruling and next Wednesday Appeal court final Judgement

Also the Supreme Court will rule on the jurisdiction of the state high court to hear the matter in the first instance on Monday because they believed it's a party affair. If they ruled otherwise then last Friday's judgement will be null and void.

Bros in your head, the supreme court will contradict itself. First they uphold the injunction explaining that it was properly issued, affirm the legal team of the apc, so you'll expect them to turn around and invalidate everything under the guise of jurisdiction? Guy rest, even Tonye Cole don rest

Please I think this has not come to raining insults,The supreme court only give judgement on the matter before her, that was exactly what happen on Friday and what will happen on Monday is an entirely different matter, the supreme court will give her judgement not minding what happen on Friday because the two cases are different matters.

BREAKING: The Supreme court has struck out the appeal by the APC challenging the judgment of a High Court in Rivers State which barred it from conducting any primaries in the state.

In the judgement, Justice Aliyu Sanusi, ruled that the preliminary objection raised by the respondents, Ibrahim Umah and 22 other aggrieved members of the APC, had substance and therefore, struck out the appeal by the APC.

This is the end of the road for Rivers APC

With what is playing out, if care is not taking Civil Servants may go through another four (4) years of no promotion, no Christmas bonuses, no increment in salary.
This is very pathetic. The only good thing that may be of benefit to Civil Servants in this whole 4 years will be the new minimum wage and nothing more...
Gov. Wike is not ready to promote or effect any promotion as regard Rivers State Civil Servants. Our labour unions are not ready to challenge the governor as regards promotion in as much as they are receiving their take up dues at the end of the month.
.
You have been in this teaching job for over 5 and 10 years without promotion, you better look for an alternative source of income and make this teaching job a part time job.
You may grow old soon without achieving anything meaningful for your children to inherit or you may not even be able to take very good care of yourself at old age. Receiving your pension after retirement is not even guaranteed.
The Government of the day does not show much concern on education and the welfare of its citizens.

Breaking: INEC finally postpones Nigeria’s general election to February 23rd ON FEBRUARY 16, 20194:30

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has postponed to February 23rd, the General election earlier scheduled for Saturday, February 16th, 2019. INEC chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, while briefing newsmen at the commission’s headquarters, announced that continuing with the election as earlier scheduled for today, 16th February, 2019, was no longer feasible.

According to him,“Following a careful review of the implementation of its logistics and operational plan, and the determination to conduct free, fair, and credible elections, the commission came to the conclusion that proceeding with the elections as scheduled is no longer feasible.” He therefore announced that the presidential and National Assembly elections had been moved to February 23, 2019. He also said that the governorship and state assembly elections have also been moved by one week to March 9, 2019.

According to him, “consequently, the Commission has decided to reschedule the Presidential and National Assembly Elections to Saturday, 23rd February 2019. Furthermore, the Governorship, State House of Assembly and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council Elections is rescheduled to Saturday 9th March 2019. This will afford the Commission the opportunity to address identified challenges in order to maintain the quality of our elections.

“This was a difficult decision for the Commission to take, but necessary for the successful delivery of the elections and the consolidation of our democracy. “The Commission will meet key stakeholders to update them on this development at 2pm on Saturday, 16th February 2019 at the Abuja international Conference Centre”, he added.”
