How about IQAS

adetola007:

Yes, you'll get two or more certificates if you evaluate both. Concerning the ECA evaluation body, it depends on how much you want to spend and how long you can wait for the ECA. If you use wes, you'll only pay 200cad to evaluate both certificates, however, you'll need to send your o'level results directly from the issuing agency (waec or neco as the case maybe). And if your school charges to verify your credentials, it may be more expensive than ICES in the long run. It takes 20 working days AFTER the verification to get ECA. Note that you can spend over a month to verify your credentials depending on your school. Some have been stucked on verification for 3+ months
For ICES, you'll pay 200 cad for EACH credentials but you don't have to worry about waec. Though people have been complaining about ices being overworked, so your evaluation may be delayed, ICES normal processing time is 12 weeks.
Cheers.

please my school unilag said they sent verification to WES Wednesday last week, I saw them doing it with my two eyes..WES hasn't sent me any mail, should I be worried? If so what is WES number because I want to call them oh?

Can I get another opinion on this, Please.

I may be wrong, but I don't think the combination or the actual scores on the result matters, she can use the WAEC or NECO result alone for Wes verification, that's if you guys don't mind the process. I hear other verification agencies have started taking much longer than Wes. So if you can sort out either WAEC or NECO verification quickly, you can use Wes[/quote]

I can do Wes but I need her ECA evaluation as she will be the Primary applicant because of age and work description.

No, you need not worry at all. WES takes circa 3-7 working days to update your status. BTW, can you pls give me a contact at the Unilag's record office. I need to confirm if they've responded to mine.

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by joo2018: 7:27pm On Feb 11, 2019
It can fly.

You will need to fill the customer service job in your post-ITA application to avoid misrepresentation.

Therefore, the challenge will be in reconciling the number of hours you worked in your "day" job and the number of hours you worked in the "side" job.

When using a part-time job as your primary NOC, you are allowed to claim +/- 15hrs per week.

If you use exactly 15hrs per week, it will take double the time of normal full time work of 30 hrs per week to reach 1560 hrs/1yrs i.e. 2yrs instead of 1yr and 6yrs to get the maximum equivalent points for 3yrs. Check here for more.

All these must be backed with dated evidence.

Bubblefairy:

Good day,
I plan to also apply for Express entry but I plan to use self employed as a baker, I currently have a job as a customer service representative but that NOC is not acceptable.
Is it possible for me to claim self employed under the FSW program?
I don't have CEC documents but I can get reference letters from my customers and even cooperate bodies. can this fly?

If you use WES, you can use either WAEC or NECO. It doesn't matter.

The other problem with WES is the verification of results. If your wife's alma mater is a school with a solid relationship with WES or you have a contact who can help you hustle the verification, you can choose WES.

Otherwise, ICES and CES are other options (though ICES reserves the right to do verification if they wish).

It doesn't matter, you can use either neco or waec if you want to use wes. Even if the result is F9 parallel, it will fly as far as wes evaluation is concerned. Cheers

I don't know much about IQAS. From what I've read here, IQAS has a long evaluation process (3+ months). Only use IQAS if you are seeking for professional evaluation. If you're a lawyer without LLM, then IQAS it is.
Cheers.

I’m a lawyer awaiting my evaluation from IQAS (after like forever they’ve acknowledged my application ) I’m 30 and the principal applicant. Hubby has a masters from Coventry university, so I need to evaluate his masters? He doesn’t want to write the IELTS.

Which body will be best to use and do you think transcript and evaluation from UK to Canada will be faster and cheaper
Use the CRS score and eligibility tools to ascertain things. He may not even need to do ECA or IELTS GT if you the PA can rake in 440 or above.

Goodafternoon great people. I am the PA.I have my POF in a joint account with my spouse. My salary account has no significant savings. I have applied for 6months payslip from my place of work. In the circumstance, will the 6months payslip dispense with printing a 6months statement of my salary account? Since am not using my salary account as POF,do I still need to get SOA and bank ref letter from my salary bank account? Or just the payslip will suffice alongside SOA, bank ref letter from me and my hubby's joint account,?

Secondly, i have an existing 5yrs trv visa issued last year in which I did biometrics last year. I am post ITA now . Will I be requested to do another biometrics ??

Please i need responses on this. God bless u all
If no part of your POF is in the salary account, then you have no business with SoA from there.
Your payslip backs up your employment claim so that's good to add.
Yes, you will do another biometrics

Good morning all. I could really use some help/advise if anyone as some suggestions. I am at the verge of submitting my application with just one issue and I would really like to close this out today and finally get this off my plate after one elapsed ITA and week away from the deadline for this one.

My financial documents are larger than the 4MB limit and I have tried the different online compressors and none seem to do the trick. At this point, I'm now looking at maybe downsizing the number of documents I have in the file.

My POF is a Mutual Fund I opened about 3 weeks ago. I included the letter/statement from the bank for the mutual fund, my 6 months bank statements (both current and savings) as well as that of my spouse to show the source of funds and a reference letter from my bank. Is there anything I can remove from here? Do you have any other suggestions on how to shrink the file?

Thanks a lot in advance.

I see you've been advised to use ilovepdf. It's a great option. If all else fails, consider separating the SoAs and sending them through CSE. Add LOE in your application that you are sending the additional documents through CSE because it was too large

Hi friends!

Has anyone evaluated Medical Laboratory Science degree? Kindly signify, I need some clarifications about it's Canadian equivalency (4 years degree or a professional degree) and which evaluation body. Thanks.

@Ifeoma.77 abeg any idea (s)?
It's a Bachelor's degree. It won't get professional status.
Any evaluation body you choose is good to go

Use anyone. The grades she got doesn't matter in this journey. So just use whichever is easier for you to process, if you're close to Minna = NECO. If you're close to Lagos= WAEC.

Or you can kuku fashi both WAEC and NECO and evaluate her Masters with ICES, CES or IQAS. They have no business with O levels

Thanks for the response. While filling the ICES online form it requires to choose a delivery method: Regular Mail (No fee) or Courier
($26 within Canada, $75 outside Canada). Please note I am currently in the US (and for the rest of the process)
Use regular mail. You're in the US so it's going to be efficiently delivered to you. And in a very short time too

I've picked it up. No change but hubby's speaking changed from 7 to 7.5.

Still not enough aa CRS is at 431. We move ahead.

Thanks 4 d help
joo2018:
You need to clear things and not muddle it up in your mind.

For work experience, you only need reference letter in CIC format. However, you may also add either or both payslips and SOA of salary account if you so choose.

For POF, you will present bank reference letter in CIC format for the joint account.

Biometrics: Yes, you will need to give another biometrics.

Good day everyone,
please can somebody please enlighten me; how a skilled garment maker/tailor with a high school certificate, can go about the process of Canada federal skilled immigration visa process?

I'm I qualified to apply or not?

Please I need experienced answers, someone claimed he can help me process it within six months for a fee of #1.3 million, I suspects he wants to scam me. wink
He definitely wants to scam you.
Are you married? Does your spouse have post-secondary education?
Consider being an accompanying spouse.
Or research the whole Atlantic immigration pilot scheme, the other rural scheme, or if you have age on your side, go and get enrolled in multiple schools asap. An NCE and one year diploma is enough to get the ministry moving.
You can also consider learning a skilled trade - one that is on the FST list.
Good luck

Please house for my WES,would you advice I do standard delivery(no tracking) which is $7 or the international delivery(with tracking) which is $85

Also it appears Masters degree falls under higher education and I clicked on that.however it’s showing as adiploma.please am I doing the correct thing?

Thanks.
Do standard delivery. WES provides a soft copy of the ECA and that is enough for your application.
Besides, NIPOST is really efficient now. Kudos to whoever is managing them lately

Your verification status update will appear on your profile when you log in, they don't send mails to tell you you've been verified.

Contact them via Facebook messenger if you have questions, they respond within 12hours, attach your WES reference number to your question for identification.
