Interestingly that us the whole essense of military training. They got to dehumanise you first and get rid of many of your pre-existing programming then build you up by indoctrination into a soldier who is able to obey orders , and take risks for the country.

The life of a combatant soldier is a life of hardship from beginning to the end. Forget the generals like Badeh that were eating and putting all the military budgets in their fat pot bellies. This is what a soldier's life is like. It is not a life of pleasure.

Our people just love to glorify sufferness. Intelligent soldiers are what we need. 99% of warfare is intel and good weapons.

Soldiers don't suffer from infections bro. They have a special injection given to them to prevent those. It's why they can go days in the wild without falling sick.

I agree with you that warfare is Intel and good weapons, but then again, have you ever considered the worst case scenario?

Believe me any Torture you receive from the Army Training is for your own good. What the Army is doing to you during Training, will be nothing compare to what will happen to you when War Finally come and You are deploy. What do you think will happen if your Enemy Catch you? What you experience during training will be nothing to what you will experience during real war. Training Treatment will be a Kid play and very merciful compare to real war Experience, be grateful for that harsh treatment

You can’t even compare the 2. The U.S military train their personnel for endurance and physical fitness. Naija Military train their personnel for endurance, physical fitness and inhumane treatment to the citizens.

Yes .. rigorous physical and mental activity for one week. The recruits know what they are in for and it is done to weed out the easily defeated ones. It's only for a week and after that you earn the respect of ur superiors and go back to regular training.Here everyday is hell and not even for a positive result. Just meaningless torture.Which is why they turn into animals and lash out at innocent civilians. Pls don't compare Nigeria and American sensibilities.They are far better than NA.
