I recently came across a thread which was about the courses you won't advise anyone to study. I saw people listing so many damn courses. The question now is, what are those good courses that one can stil study in Nigeria that are lucrative? I think that no matter how bad the economy seems to be, it won't be possible that all the courses are useless.

Medicine
MLS
Nursing
Law
Study the above courses for poor n pauper people

Finally if u have good connection if u like u can study Igbo language u will still make it n live like a king

I actually came here to type this. Thank you for taking it off me. But it is an unorganized profession, take into consideration the practice rules.

Teaching/Education. I got my sibling to do BSc/BEd Chemistry. He moaned to death. On graduating with a solid 2.1, I got him over to the UK to study for a 1 Year MSc, whilst doing this, we got his certificates accredited, he secured a teaching job in a UK private secondary school that secured him work permit. The rest, as they say, is history. He’s doing extremely well. If you see the world as your oyster, even nursing would land you good money in developed economies. Did I mention medical students were mocking my sibling when he was doing his education undergraduate degree and his girlfriend who was a nursing student (now working as a nurse in London)? Those medical students are now hapless doctors in dilapidated Nigerian hospitals. grin grin grin

Not as lucrative as the ones I put on bold.

Nursing, Medicine, Radiography are good courses to study in Nigeria and stand a chance of at least securing a job after graduation.

Not that they will make you rich, no, they will at least give u a job to start life with while other of your mates are still job hunting around.

But if you want to be rich via career in Nigeria, forget medicine, radiography or nursing, unless u are ready to travel outside Nigeria to US, UK, Australia, Canada, Japan, etc and be ready to work your ass off with overtime hours to make it big and maybe end up rich and be ready to further beyond your first degree too lipsrsealed

First, no course guarantees you ll get a job when you finish. There are unemployed doctors too: so dnt be fooled. The problem with most of those courses (esp. law) is that they focus on your grade. A friend of mine finished with 2.1 in uni and 2.2 in law school. She's paid 200k monthly despite her grade in law skul.

1. People's health is always their first priority
2. Nigerians love owning cars and houses
3. Everything is becoming ICT related
4. They must eat

Any of the above, solve the related problems and you'll always make money

Chai! Dentistry? How many people teeth wan dey break when you go dey make money. grin

Dentistry is a very lucrative course. If you don't go to the hospital, you won't know how many persons troop in the dentistry ward every day. You would be amazed of the number of persons that go for treatment in the dentistry ward.

I once worked as a Biomedical Engineer, servicing and troubleshooting their Dental chairs in one of the Federal teaching hospitals. That was when I knew that people really do have lot of problems with their teeth.

Every day, up to 60 persons must come for treatment. Sometimes you have to wait till it gets to your turn.

You are talking about 1 in a million case bros, forget anything, medicine, nursing, radiography are sure courses in Nigeria oh.

They seem to be the only courses with no unemployed graduate in Nigeria, let's say the truth.

Not that they earn millions but they get job at worst faster than others.

So don't use your brother's one in a million case to generalize, no be only teaching, na cheating undecided
