Hello Seniors , please help me oo!! Anyone flew air canada before ? IS it the regular 2 ( 23kg) baggage’s allowance

Once you have done ur booking all the way to ur destination from Naija, i dont think you have to worry about the baggage allowance and i believe its the 23kg *1 allowance.

Hi,

Please has anyone travelled with Egypt airline recently?
What's up with this their "binning fish"? Do they still discard stuff?
Please share your luggage handling experience to clear the air.

Thank you.

You just read my mind on this because I have been thinking of asking about travelling with my precious electrical wanna maker and Kenwood mixer but ive been very busy lately to come online to ask. Then I decided to search for a step down adaptor/transformer and also watched a YouTube video where someone one was sent a 220v appliance instead of a 110v one which was compatible with his countries voltage, but then I still wanted to clarify if anyone has successfully used the adaptor over there with Nigerian appliances. My waina maker can't be left here in naija oooo

Please what is a waina maker? I am just curious, never heard of it. As for the transformer, just make sure its output voltage and frequency matches your Waina makers input.

It is a bit complicated but, for a Nigerian, generally you will not need a visa if
i. you are transiting to Canada
ii. you will not leave the main airport building
iii. your onward flight is not in another airport
vi. you will not need to collect your bags and check them in to your onward flight
v. your onward flight does not leave on a different calendar day to when you arrive

You might need to check here: https://www.gov.uk/transit-visa

Thanks so much &Joo2018. I had to call Jumia travels and was advised to book another one cos it’s most likely I will be needing a transit VISA. So I have paid for my Ethiopian airline jejely.

I hear putting coffee beans in the container (ziploc, plastic, etc) of any products that generally has a smell, prevents it from getting binned. Two people I know have tried it with Egypt Air and nothing was binned (but I don't know if they had fish)

How about landing formalities?

I've been seeing conflicting information online about first time FSW permanent residents landing in Montreal as their POE.

UPDATED: I've seen an answer on twitter.

Most local flights in Canada charge for checked luggage. Its best you confirm from Air Canada as soon as possible.

Been wanting to ask about this. How easy is it for single guys to find partners in Canada? Where are potential places where Nigerians socialize say in Toronto or Alberta?

What airline do you want to use, i booked for my infant on Ethiopia App, and was charged less that 15k for her......Why don't u use the airline app or site direct....after scanning for prices on Skyscanner for the selected date, this gives you and idea of the most affordable for that date

Hello gurus and seniors in the house. My husband will be landing into canny 12/04/19. He got admitted into fanshawe. And the projection is I join with the kids in few months.so my questions
1. We have family in Toronto, is it doable for him to go from Toronto to London for classes giving that the jobs are mor in Toronto?
2. Can I do certified Nursing assistant in Toronto n get a job there too n how long does this take?
Is there a what's app group for Naija peeps in London Ontario.
