please i need explanation on this issue. I went to stanbic bank last week(12 /02/2019) for last week auction. i filled the form and it was submitted. the lady said are should come back on the 13th which is the real day for the auction to know the rate at which the TB will be bought.when i got there she told me that she bought the TB from the primary market that i will receive email and debit alert message. since then i didn't see any email message nor debit alert. to my greatest surprise someone else paid money into my account and i discovered that the money i recommended for the TB as been deducted without debit message and email message. my question is, does that mean that my bid as been successful? if yes, why is there no any evidence? the lady attended to me said are should be expecting message since last week. please what is the solution? |

@Agbeni33, panic not. This happens sometimes. Simply walk into the bank and ask your account officer to help print out a copy of your TB investment. The request will definitely be granted. |

Agbeni33: For a successful bid, you are supposed to receive a confirmation email from stanbic stating: >the face value >Discount value >Transaction fee >Safekeeping fee >Effective Date >Maturity Date >Rate |

Agbeni33: Check your spam mails and also ensure that 'Do Not Disturb(DND)' is not activated on the number you are using on the account though this is normally bypassed now by banks. Sometimes network issues can make sms alert not to be delivered. |

fnglng: Yes, typically if you have an account with them already and have agreed email/online indemnity. Otherwise you might be able to open one from abroad, and agree an indemnity too. Options open to you include: > send email to/call their customer care; they can also guide you to the right channels > send an email/txt to or call your account officer/relationship manager > at least 1 online for Access Bank; tbills.ng > at least 1 mobile app for Sterling Bank/Parthian Partners; I-Invest 2 Likes 1 Share |

ahiboilandgas: We learn everyday, thanks for sharing.. Just a bit curious, I see your moniker says oil and gas..so I will assume more inflow.. Can you clarify how 800k in less than 11 years turned in 50M in NTB investments? When I whipped out my compound interest calculator even at 20% it won't give up to 5million(reinvesting interest may earn slightly higher). Unless you mean all your investments aside NTB and other side hustles... I await your clarifications... |
