Pls Nairalanders, I went to the primary school I graduated from today to ask for my first school leaving certificate and testimonial and my proprietor charged me #25,000 for the certificate and #5000 for testimonial, making it #30,000.....pls, is this the actual price for it? Or I should go to the state ministry of Education and request for it... i don't even know if i am requesting for the certificate in the right place, I am just so confuse.....Your replies will be well appreciated..Thanks! Please I am in Lagos state.

No big deal. Just visit the head teacher of the school you wrote the exam. You may need to go with a valid means of identification like birth certificate or even your term result sheet when you were schooling there.

Personally, the head teacher recognized me so I didn't have to go through those means.

As for the price, it depends on the school. They might want to charge more for keeping the certificate for you, if not it's 'almost' free.
