Children are a blessing from God, and the gifts or proof of a blessed marriage is a child or children you can call your own, your heirs, your flesh and blood.

Once you as a woman gets married, the next thing people expect in the next 9 months is a protruding tummy, and then finally a bouncing and healthy baby born into the family.

For some people, this phenomenon takes place in a jiffy, no stress, no worries, in 9 months time, a baby is born.
Sadly, on the other hand, some couples have to wait, hope and struggle endlessly in a bid to conceive.

This issue is known as INFERTILITY.
“Infertility means not being able to get pregnant after one year of having unprotected sex with your spouse”

According to statistics, 1 in 8 families battle infertility. That means if you currently suffer from this issue, you are not alone. Many other couples face the same struggles as you when it comes to getting pregnant and giving birth to children.

Now, to get pregnant as a woman, these are the following things that MUST happen;

• A woman’s body must release an egg from her ovaries (Ovulation)
• The egg must go through the fallopian tube towards the uterus (Womb)
• A man’s sperm must join with the egg along the way(Fertilization)
• The fertilized eggs must attach to the inside of the uterus (Implantation)

Infertility occurs when there is a BREAK or ERROR in any of the processes above.
One of the most common causes of infertility in women is simply a problem with ovulation.

That is if there is a problem with the woman’s body releasing as much eggs for the process of pregnancy, that couple will have sex from now till next year, yet the woman will never get pregnant.

How do you know that your body is not ovulating properly as a woman?
If you experience absent or irregular menstruation as a married woman, this is a bad sign that you might actually struggle to conceive.

So if you are currently experiencing such, you are in the right place.
Hormonal Imbalance is a common cause of the body not being able to produce enough eggs for fertilization (Ovulation) and pregnancy.

This is when the body is supplying little or no hormones that are supposed to make the woman ovulate.
With this condition, the woman might experience 6-12 weeks gap within her menstrual cycle which is a RED FLAG if your body wants to qualify for carrying a baby.

This hormonal imbalance could be caused by many factors. One of the causes of this is age. As you age, the more the body finds it difficult to produce eggs through the ovaries, that is why it’s more advisable to give birth in your 20’s but sadly due to this case of infertility, women find it hard to conceive even until they hit age 40.

This case of infertility is so critical that if the marriage was not rooted on deep and sincere love, it is bound to crash.
At this critical stage, people are already asking questions, both those who do it out of concern and your village people who are nothing but monitoring spirits.

This case of childlessness in the woman can lead her into deep depression. She begins to see herself as less of a women, in fact she is even jealous or envious of other women who get pregnant so easily.

Worst of all her faith in God who is the giver of children begins to shake, even though she is always at every church service crying to God for the fruit of the womb. She begins to wonder if the sins of her youth are beginning to catch up with her. Her nights are soaked in tears.

If care is not taken, the man begins to listen to suggestions from outsiders to impregnate another woman so he can have a heir. These threatens the woman’s security in her marriage and she can never be at peace with herself.

These makes her desperate and due to this, many women have sought diabolical means to get a baby.
But you don’t need a babalawo or fetish doctor to get a child of your own, your parents were not barren, heck you should not be barren too.

But Do Not Be Dismayed, There Is A Way …..
After thorough research, fertility experts have found a supplement that has the power to boost fertility, making the woman’s ovaries produce eggs at a sporadic rate which make it easier for her to conceive even if she is in her 40’s.

With this supplement, you won’t have to die childless, or spend your life hoping for a miracle i.e giving birth at age 80…..No, you don’t have to be a parent at old age.
There is a way.

hmmm, if they did that and didnt see any follicle at all on cd 10, its a lil strange, cos even if you ovulate on cd 20, small follicles shud be present, anyway try again in 4 to 6 days later n see, meanwhile i recommend you stock up on egg stimulating supplements, like ovaboost, ubiquinol, royal jelly, etc

This is my ttc story
I had a low sperm count of two million and after taking drug it went to 7m and after a month it went back to 2m.Dr recommended hormonal profile which I did and this revealed I had deficiency of 3 hormone and he therefore recommended IVF that the infertility treatment may take more time.
Though every test about ma wife is ok then I conclude am the issue .
My people as at the time I went for hormonal test I already did another sperm analysis in another lab and that very day Dr recommended IVF I went to collect the result of the sperm analysis,lo and behold ma people the count had jumped to 64million.
Many of of u will ask what I used.
It increased at a time I don't take any drug but my wife and I key into the word of God.
We're a Redeemer and we're obediently and sincerely observing the ongoing fast and prayer and we postponed every treatment till after the fasting.
We attended RCCG Shiloh hour.
My wife tested this morning and it's positive
Dr gave up on us but my God had already perfected His job in our lives and wipe away our tear and silent our mockers.
My advise to all ttc mommies
Please don't give up and always carry your partner along in infertility treatment.
Hubby you might be the problem and in togetherness you will achieve a desirable result.
Please be prayerful
God will always change negative medical report about you the way He spiritually boosted my low sperm count.
Ttc is not easy though ours is less than two years but my prayers is to everyone ttc mommies is that God will settle you this very year and silent your mockers.
Congratulations dear Noblekids and adisababa. May God perfect His good work in your lives, grant you healthy and goodly children.

Please adisababa1234 what drug were you using previously? And did you make any dietary, herbal or healthy changes? I'm asking in case we need to learn a thing or 2 about what works to add to our faith. Because most times there's God's part and our part.

I would really appreciate some insight/helpful tips as we're currently believing God to overcome this. Thanks a lot!

Sorry ma, for the delay in replying you. Truth is madam you need to see a doctor, we here might suggest a myo inositol or metformin for you base on our experience but it might not be good for you. PCOS is not something you self medicate on, pls see a doctor, if you cannot see a doctor for now, then be taking ginger and Lemmon and stop after ovulation. Take care

Sorry dear. I had responded to you but got banned for my response. You need to work with a doctor like futuremoma34 advised. The truth is that, though we do it a lot, trial and error isn't the best.

I had suggested that you use the search button and read through the thread for pointers. I think I.n.osi.t.o.l was mentioned a lot.

God speed!

Twinee08, I had a similar case to yours few months ago. At CD 16, no developing follicle was seen in my follicle tracking. So, it was concluded that I didn't ovulate that cycle. Out of curiosity, I went to google to fine out what could cause anovulatory cycle. I found out that lifestyle and certain medication can cause it. All I did was to stop the medicine I was taking then. The next month, my Dr asked me to do hormonal profile and the result showed that I ovulated.
So, don't conclude now. Still track your follicle on CD 12. If no follicle is seen, then you don't need to continue since you have 29 days cycle. Try to find out why you didn't ovulate that cycle. Also, I was made to understand that annovulatory cycle occur in some women at times unknowingly to them. Cheers!

Good day,

Please u need answers. I and my wife have been ttc for sometime now... She had a fibroid surgery in November.

After the surgery, we noticed that during her supposed ovulation, she gets this sticky mucus discharge...the one that is always a sign of ovulation. In fact it's so much and so sticky.

Is this a sign that she ovulated?

How do we know if she ovulated?

Her gynaecologist run commends that she comes for flushing after three months of surgery before we start to try.

She is seeing him today.

Please what's the essence of the flushing of her tubes? Does it really remove any blockages?

Finally a prolactin test shows her level is close to 50ng/ml high is higher than the normal limits. Can this affect her chances of taking on? She is already on drugs for the prolactin... Dorstinex. Can she get pregnant while taking the drugs?

Looking forward to you responses.

1. The sticky stuff is egg white cervical mucus and is a sign of ovulation or rather it indicates her fertile period. The only sure way to know is to do a hormonal test. But for most people, the mucus is a way, i personally feel ovulation pain.

2. I don't really know much about it but those who bave done hsg will let you know.

3. High prolactin surely hinders conception in some people and the drug she is taking has beem recommended here amd hopefully she will conceive soon.

Have you also been checked

Lastly if you arent comfortable with your doctor's prescription, you can always seek a second opinion. Also don't underestimate the power of prayer.
