What of people that had done their biometric about 2 years ago and don't have any letter? Would they need to undertake a new biometric process if they intend to renew their visa now? |

Please I am currently 5weeks pregnant and want to give birth in Canada. My husband is a Canadian citizen and instead of PR applications, is considering putting in visiting first before PR, to ensure am there before delivery (since PR applications take up to a year to go through). The issue now is my bank statement, it doesn't show constant stream of income as the business am doing now is still on the start level. I also have the business registered but haven't opened a separate account for it yet and hence no good statement from it. For this reason we are considering leaving our son behind as ties to Nigeria, but don't know if it's enough. Note that my husband will be sponsoring the visit and hence has his account details, insurance and the rest ready. Is his account details enough to compensate mine? A friend is recommending i use fabricated bank details, I am currently too scared to consider it, as I do not know it's implications and wouldn't want any dent on my reputation/history with them |
Re: Giving Birth In Canada by JESUnifemi4eva: 5:32am On Feb 17, 2019 |
Whatever you decide to do, do NOT use any fabricated documents especially BANK documents, you can get banned for 10years for misrepresentation. Get someone to transfer money to your account and consider getting a gift deed from the person, just incase you need to add it to your application. DO NOT FALSIFY ANY DOCUMENTS, it's better if your trip is delayed than if you are barred for 10years, and delay is not denial afterall your husband is a citizen and its easier for him to file for you. cannyC: That's a bad friend. Run from her. The choice is yours. However, I don't see any need for the rush. since your husband is a citizen, he can bring you, your son and the new baby you are expecting. don't jeopardize your future plans with fake documentations. Is your husband a PR or a citizen? |

JESUnifemi4eva: Pls don't dare it, I was submitted my application July 22nd last year. And when it is august 7the the canadian embassy contacted my bank "Stanbic" to verify my statement of account. Bank proof it valid to them and yet my application is still on process. Had it been I used fake statement of account i will get banned of 10 years. I applied for visiting and till date is still on process. 7 months now. I still looking forward for the best anyway 1 Like 1 Share |

Thanks for all your opinion especially on the issue of forging bank statement. About depositing a certain amount in my account, I think if I do, they will term it 'money lodgement' since it's going to appear that it was deposited few weeks before application. What other ties can I use? I really want to give birth in Canada and at the same time be with my husband through this second pregnancy. Reading other people's positive stories in this thread have raised my hopes. |

cannyC: Use your husband's account statement, leave your son behind as a tie... I think this is your best bet. |
Re: Giving Birth In Canada by cannyC: 2:15pm On Feb 17, 2019 |
folmus: He's a citizen and lives there. Am not rushing just missing him. Second pregnancy without him being around is not something to look forward to when I have an option. I won't do the fake documentation but I need ideas of what can serve as strong ties. Aside government jobs, what other things can someone use as strong ties? Please help with as much ideas as you can think possible. Thank you all |

cannyC:if your husband us sponsoring you and earn more than enough to Carter for your travel, then his statement should be used. I know housewives here use their husbands statement for application and they are fine. You can build your statement for some time and include it but don't fail to include every detail of your spouses finance. Luck |

GlitzG:what kind of affidavit is that? Why not use the Common Partner route. I think you can print the form and get the Oath signed and stamped in the court |

Dear All, I just found out I am pregnant for my fiance. He wants me to give birth in Canada. I have not started the application yet because I am scared I may get rejected due to lack of travel history and ties with Nigeria. I also need help with the whole process. While filling the visa application form, do I disclose that I am going to Canada to give birth? NB; My fiance, who is a UK resident(not citizen) will be the one sponsoring the visa process |
Re: Giving Birth In Canada by Candybright: 10:19pm On Feb 17, 2019 |
Sozaboy: Yes you may have to declare your intention to give birth in Canada but you need written backup like a doctor's letter from Canada to aid your application. |

Please I need an urgent response to my enquiries, I am due to travel on the 21st of February, and I want to apply for a visa on arrival for my baby, pledoes my husband have to send a consent letter? Should I apply on behalf of the baby? Or I should just write the baby's name directly as the applicant, like d one applying, is there any denial possibility? I don't want to take any chances please, as I am suppose to travel in 3days, please help me for those that aplied for the VOA themselves or should I contact an agent immediately or how, I am here in Canada and my husband is in Nigeria |

I'm new here and I enjoyed everyones contribution. Please I need help. I wasn't pregnant when I was issued my visa(visitors visa), now I'm pregnant and I want to have my baby in Canada. What do I say at the point of entry. Hope I won't have issues. I'm looking at having my baby at Toronto maybe Brampton or Waterloo. Can anyone help me with a doctors number I can reach , hospital bill that is affordable and an affordable accomodation. I'm going with my mum and son. I will also need the help of Hot stepper. I really see that she has been helpful. I will be so grateful if I can get assistance. I'm meant to travel in July. Thanks. catalano: 1 Like |

Hello, Congratulations! please do not panic as everything will fall into place. People that were in ur shoes before either emailed the embassy to notify them of recent development or just came to POE and said vacation then birth. Do you have any family/friends in these cities u have mentioned? Fricasse: |

Hotstepper: Hello, Please I’m in this shoes as well. Myself, wife & kid applied for visas, plan was to have our summer vacation there. That was in Nov I’ve been so worried in what next to do, do I write the embassy to inform them of change in purpose of visit, take my chances at the POE that is after getting drs appointments or do we still enter the country, exit and my wife heads back there for birthing. Please I’ll appreciate your advice. Passports still at the embassy since November |
