Although i understand some aspects like function, data type and declaration, variables, and string just to mention a few.

But am still not satisfied. I want more explanations. Please can you be kind enough to explain it to me

Someone told me that once i master the concept of c programming, c++ would be easy for me. How true is this?

What is the difference between python and c programming?

Let me try to break it down to its simplest term.
First of all their are many paradigm of programming languages namely :
* OOP languages
* Procedural languages
* Imperative languages etc there are many, but the above are the most common paradigm.
Why OOP is highly recommended is because, OOP languages are used to build complex systems, like Apache, Android OS, iOS, etc. More so, OOP languages more logically understood.
Now for ease, first learn OOP like languages. After move to Procedural language(if you want), and then Imperative languages (again, if you want).
If you can code in one OOP language, you can code in any other OOP languages. WHY? Because they use the same concept. That is why as a beginer, focus on learning OOP concepts.
What are OOP concepts?
Encapsulation, Polymorphism, Data, Object, Class, Subclass etc
Let me let you know that the best programmers in the world are Self Taught programmers, you can ask around if you like.

HOW SHOULD START THE LEARNING CURVE?
If OOP languages are your desired languages(I highly recommend OOP).
1. Then start with reading a SmallTalk programming book.
I recommend "Art and Science of SmallTalk" book, (search google for this ebook). Let me let you know that Alan Key is the founder of OOP paradigm, and is the chief author of the Smalltalk programming language. I learnt those OOP concept by reading this book.
After you have learnt OOP concept, you can learn any OOP language of your choice. (I would recommend Python, as you first language to learn, then Ruby,then C++).
Note that C and C++ syntax are not the similar, as C is a imperative procedural language and C++ is an OOP language.
But once again, know where you want to specialize, then you will know what tool/language to learn.
I do Malware Analyse + Vulnerability Reasearch so I learnt High Level Assembly(HLA is OOP) to dissect malware(virus) to find out what the malware is engineered to do. I learnt C (imperative psocedural) & C++(oop) to spot vulnerabities in systems and OS. (i am still learning, as we learn everyday).
I learnt Python (oop) as my first OOP language and for fun, because it is simply, and also a scripting language.
In Summary:
* learn OOP concept
* learn OOP language
note that you can code any paradigm of programming language once you have learnt the concept.
