You are one in a million Nigerians that know what is going on in the country. You must be a well-educated fellow.

Major agents impeding our progress as a nation are tribalism and religion.
sonature1:

My Igbo brothers have been doing so since 1999.
We voted against Ojukwu, Okadigbo, Ume Ezuoke, and many other big names in the east in favor of Obasanjo and Yar'Adua.

We did the same with Jonathan, an Ijaw man from Bayelsa State...but other Nigerians turned to call us tribalistic.

Today, we are voting for Atiku and Obi because Buhari is a big failure yet u lots still say we are tribalistic

I was absolutely delighted yesterday when I saw some Yoruba guys in Ikeja saying that they voted for Atiku because Buhari messed up. They expressed hope that Atiku will win counting on Igbo voters in Lagos.

I pray that u learn fast that bad governance and poverty transcend tribe

There's no great country on earth where all their people come from the same tribe.

Am seriously disappointed with my Yoruba folks. The reason the igbo people have is that Obi is there son. What is the reasons Yoruba has?

You are very far from the truth, igbos are not ethic bigots. Many igbos didn't even vote for Ojukwu when he contested. Do You know how many igbos contested this presidential election. Muoghalu with all the hullabaloo got only one vote in my own polling unit. Bring Yar'adua from the dead, igbos would vote for him. Buhari had good number of supporters among igbos including me in 2015. He entered power instead of building on the little gains made more enemies out of many including those who were even neutrals in 2015. People were willing to travel long distance to ensure they voted against him. Obi has a proven track records, Igbos would have still voted him if he was to be from another tribe. No one has divided this country more than Buhari had done. He had my vote in 2015, he lost it in 2019

Abi o. Before we have it certain there would be a Yoruba presidency in 4 years. Now, we'll be lucky to get it in 16.
what will be will be. Yoruba presidency is not tied to the aprons of buhari who I am 80% certain will never hand over to a Southerner. if PDP wins and they mess up, and tinubu decides to contest in 2023,believe me he will win by a landslide especially in the south east, a very good number of Igbos are impressed by what he did to Lagos, don't be deceived by what you read online

Not accurate, most igbos weren't voting between 1999-2011, results were strictly written in the East and some parts of south by the then PDP.

Not knowing this is an height of political ignorance.

I respect Yoruba people now, nobody should call them afonjas or any degrading names. They are unpredictable people and I respect them now,if you don't govern well, they go against you and I respect them now for that.

This election and other incoming elections in the future will teach politicians to work instead of using propaganda to work.

No he is not making sense. The Yoruba's are educated, they are the most liberal tribe in this country. They majorly don't take decisions based on sentiments like other regions. If only every body in Nigeria can get rid of sentiments then Nigeria can be great.

Crowd watching this thread may surpass that of the world cup.
The results of this election has conclusively shown that aside the stark illiterates and those severely brainwashed up North, majority of Nigerians have decidedly passed a vote of no confidence on Buhari and his grossly incompetent leadership and that is what will define governance the next four years, whosover is eventually declared the winner:
That the average literate Nigerian, the worker and struggling businessman/trader,including the middle class and elites, the employed and unemployed have said no to incompetence, corruption, hypocrisy, parochialism and bigotry, symptomatic of Buhari and all he stands for.
