My dear, your assertion was for this current electoral dispensation, hence my question. Thank you
socialmediaman:

Do you remember that Ojukwu contested the presidential election in 2003 but SE voted OBJ? Do you remember an Igbo man was Buhari’s deputy in 2003 and 2007 but Igbos voted Obasanjo and Yar’adua?

from his government now its very clear he doesn't value any tribe except the north.if a Yoruba is supporting him thinking that buhari values them then they know nothing of the man.I didn't vote for PDP because Obi is there rather because Atiku is a better alternative to buhari and belongs to a party strong enough to upstage buhari
Ogbeni keep shut! You have always hated Buhari when you noticed he had the guts to send Jonathan packing.
You fool no one here. Your hate for Buhari is because he defeated Jonathan -- who you happened to benefit from.
Of course everyone know ibos dominated and eat Nigeria money when Jonathan was president, and you not going to allow anybody spoil your show.

Attention Please!!!
Whoever knows this guy should stay close to him, I repeat they should watch him closely. The extent of frustration oozing out of him has gotten to critical level, and at this point suicide may appear appealing.
The terrorist of Daura has been rejected by all Nigerians. The Igbos and SS gave him what is called brutality while NC equally gave him a bloody nose with some slaps he got from the SW and NE, even the NW he thought would save him are too weak from suffering and hunger he caused to put up a good fight.
Right now in the East, everyone is waiting to hear that Buhari is officially extinguished before we hit the bars!! Homeboys are going to drink to stupor on my bills grin grin
My condolence to you and other zombies who constituted a nuisance on Nairaland, the party is over!!!

You know absolutely nothing about me but why don't you counter my argument with superior facts rather than resorting to emotional response?

Pls don't bring ethnicity to this thread. Most of your Yoruba brothers only vote according to their conscience. Nigeria will be better if we see ourselves as Nigerians first before our ethnic groups.

The dice had been casted let INEC unveil the winners.

God bless Nigeria
If you think so, then you will lose big time. Ethnicity comes first. Only an idiot will think otherwise

I blame Buhari for what's happening, instead of forcing sense into his APC governors he was forming saint at the center. They really Bleep him up in this election. He will really learn this time if he narrowly escape and not giving any loosing governor any appointment.
truly Buhari bleeped up his govt. In all areas. Had it been he performed to expectation, he will not be struggling now. Secondly, apc is stingy in this election. They refused to spend money like pdp in this election. For example, pdp shared money in every polling boot in Kwara state. I did not see where apc canverse voters with money. The sharing of money did little work for PDP in Kwara. The only thing is kwarans have decided to vote saraki out that is why the money did not reflect in the election results. This is one of the weakness of apc.

Eket INEC office, Akwa Ibom State
Sorting of voting materials still ongoing
They are still counting. There are complaints that most machines were not working yesterday and as such some people got angry and left without voting while others did it manually.

If Buhari wins, he should just ignore them totally. They can't like him, and he shouldn't like them too. No be by force. I hate ingrates and people who are hard to please.

As for Southwest, the Yorubas have always been very unpredictable. My ex girlfriend used to abuse me that Yorubas are the only tribes who don't know how to play this "na our son" politics in national level.

However, I am disappointed with Ogbomoso, particularly. Buhari should still win Oyo state, though.

Nigerians are ingrates. They did that from every zone especially the South. Whatever the outcome isn't my concern but it only shows the mentality of average Nigerians.

maybe igbos generally hate buhari but why

Same question i was asking. Among some of my folks in 2015, I was looking very odd because I was speaking up and defending Buhari on why he should be president, some told me i was too young to understand. Buhari in the last 4 years has proven me wrong and my debaters right. Not everyone hated him, but can you tell me what Buhari has done as a leader and father in the last 4 years to win the heart of those people. Many votes Atiku got were mostly votes against Buhari rather than votes for Atiku

My Igbo brothers have been doing so since 1999.
We voted against Ojukwu, Okadigbo, Ume Ezuoke, and many other big names in the east in favor of Obasanjo and Yar'Adua.

We did the same with Jonathan, an Ijaw man from Bayelsa State...but other Nigerians turned to call us tribalistic.

Today, we are voting for Atiku and Obi because Buhari is a big failure yet u lots still say we are tribalistic

I was absolutely delighted yesterday when I saw some Yoruba guys in Ikeja saying that they voted for Atiku because Buhari messed up. They expressed hope that Atiku will win counting on Igbo voters in Lagos.

I pray that u learn fast that bad governance and poverty transcend tribe

There's no great country on earth where all their people come from the same tribe.
////////////////////////////////

Don't get it twisted, Yorubas do not see Atiku as the best presidential candidate, we have no issues with obi but Atiku, if buhari goverment is bad Atiku will be worser, I expect most of you to vote young presidential candidates rather than Atiku.

But I'm sorry you can't force Atiku on us, if you have better candidate next time Yoruba may go with you.

This is so wrong! Akwa Ibom alone have up to 10 people in his govt.
Lagos too.
Ebonyi
Abia
Imo
Anambra

Etc, you people just like choosing what to see and then lie on the rest.
you clearly don't understand what I mean by that.who are those who make decisions in his government am not talking about posts given to please party stalwarts even his VP is locked out of many crucial meetings dominated by northerners. for all of you who are looking up to Buhari based on tribal sentiments am sorry to tell you all that no other tribe matters to him except northeners.
look beyond your tribal or partisan sentiment and tell me if buhari deserve another tenure based on his economy policies, his one sided corruption(witch hunt) fights, tribal sentiments, indifference to ordinary people's plight, his disregard of rule of law,did our democracy improve or decline under him,did you witness 2015 elections even though most of us voted for him the opposition but did you notice how the government allowed us and not having people kidnapped at dying minutes
be a patriotic Nigerian and you will distance yourself from Buhari

The North went against Jonathan because of high level of illiteracy and ignorance, can same be said about the South? Buhari isn't capable but he made developments in the South. Yes, he made that infamous statement which was entirely wrong but did that stop him from developing those zones?

Corruption is still high but there isn't free money like it used to be hence the reason most oppositions are crying which makes some Nigerians hate him. Free money doesn't elevate any society but that's what Nigerians want. They want free money, its the reason there are more churches now than before because they can tell them to pay tithe, offering etc to bribe God for their lives to be turned around.

Benue, Kaduda etc crises predates this government. But you can blame this government while praising the previous. You are the same people that screamed Buhari is killing christians in those zones because he wants to Islamize Nigeria but didn't use that same logic regarding Zamfara since it's predominant Muslim state. The day Ortom decamped to PDP was the day the crises in Benue reduced. What magic happened?

Shiites were killed in the previous governments, did you cry about that? Ain't you vying for the same government to come back? Nigerians have simply made it known that they only want to eat. No society turned around with suffering first before the eventual enjoyment. There are loads of rice locally produced now.

Throughout the administration of GEJ. I never heard where men of the Nigerian Army invaded the residence of Shiites leaders and murdered over 500 innocent defenceless civilians. If you have any proof of that, please state it here. It is on record that the Fulani Herdsmen was ranked as the 4th most violent terrorist group under Buhari. My issue with that is that what did Buhari do about it. Nobody said there would not be problems. Even if Atiku wins it doesn't mean all of Nigeria's problem will be automatically solved. My question is what did Buhari do about Fulani herdsmen and armed banditry

Yoruba presidency is not tied to the aprons of buhari who I am 80% certain will never hand over to a Southerner. if PDP wins and they mess up, and tinubu decides to contest in 2023,believe me he will win by a landslide especially in the south east, a very good number of Igbos are impressed by what he did to Lagos, don't be deceived by what you read online
Go mark this somewhere today.

After this 2019 election, the next Nigeria president after the tenure of whoever wins this one will be Igbo.

If Atiku wins, chances are he may not rule for 8years.

If Buhari wins then Igbo will take over in 2023.
