President Muhammadu Buhari has won Nasarawa state for the first time since 2003 defeating Alhaji Atiku Abubakar by 37,896 votes.

Results collated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Lafia shows that President Buhari polled 279,315 votes to defeat Atiku who polled 241,419 votes.

Buhari won in eight local governments while Atiku won in five local governments marking the first time the Peoples Democratic Party has lost Nasarawa state in a presidential election since then return to democracy in 1999.

The president got his highest number of votes in Lafia, the state capital, where he polled 55,254, while Atiku got his highest votes in Karu local government after polling 49,292.

As projected, APC has won Nasarawa state. Kwara, Niger, and Nasarawa are now in the bag as far as north central is concerned. Kogi May join very soon. PMB now has north central on lockdown.

When we told them APC would win in the North Central, they were insulting us. Today, they've seen how their thief was rejected.

Seems my prediction is coming thru except for Southwest.

Losing with 37,000 votes is a win for PDP. Edo margin will cancel osun and nassarawa

Buhari has won this election

I said that he who wins the Middle Belt, wins the election. Nassarawa was my 'red line'. And it looks like Bubu won there.

Unless Kogi, Plateau and Benue and Taraba can do something for PDP (I expect PDP to take those states...). APC is guaranteed another 4 years.


Anyways....I know that we Nigerians better start putting pressure on our leaders, instead of doing follow follow...because, let's be frank...PDP and APC are not the answer.

Ermm.. Let's wait for other results to come in before we conclude..

With this, no matter how much the SS/SE marginal votes turns out to be for PDP. It will easily be cancelled out by NW. So, how exactly is Atiku winning?
