I don't back PDP or APC, thank you very much.

However, the election is proving to be very narrow. Though the KKKKstates seem to be carrying Bubu past the finishing line.

That's because you don't know the true meaning of education. It's not about having school degrees. It's more about your mindset and how modernized it is. The difference between Nigeria and the more advanced nations is the mindset. How would you explain an unfit president getting so much votes and a second term? You think it's normal has nothing to do with the mindset and education of these people voting?

People are entitled to their choices, respect that. Even if Buhari was a madman, he would still have fans. Yes, we must respect their choices. After all, that's what democracy is all about.

The challenge is that the voters who wanted to kick out Buhari are just bunch of keyboard warriors unwilling to do the real voting.

Yeah you are right. I wonder why the people would still vote for Buhari and Atiku. Two men with questionable history. Our people are the problem. Too much bias and tribal sentiments clouding our minds.

Relax, it's a problem from the electoral officers, let them reconcile their figures, how is that the president's fault?

You can take 200,000 votes out no problem, he'll still win with over 2m votes.

Yeah! Thank God for the USA that voted the "honest", "credible" and "accountable" character of Donald Trump as President. SMH

Maybe you actually mean having a sexist, liar, cheat, corrupt, adulterer, dishonest, proud, bigot, racist, and questionable characteristics too numerous to mention as a president is something you'd rather be thanking God for. grin

Yet Trump was able to keep the economy at a steady pace or positive growth. Yet despite the personal flaws you highlighted above, people are not dying of hunger, lack of jobs and so on. I think Nigerians would take a Trump over any of our leaders anytime....lol

Sir, I understand your frustration but Atiku is better than Buhari even though Buhari is not the best choice. We told you online poll analyst that actual voting is on the field not social media you won't listen. Tell me what infrastructure Atiku and PDP provided to Nigeria in 16yrs? Is it rail, good road network, health, agriculture? Other than sharing money to people is that what you call goid leadership? If you are educated.
I was already aware that the polls don't represent the true situation on ground because the bulk of the uneducated folks have no online presence. I already knew that the mass of uneducated citizens are the ones to decide the election so I am not surprised.

What about APC and what infrastructures did they put in place? This matter is not about APC or PDP. They are just the same political class switching parties. There is no difference between both of them. If you think APC is better than PDP or PDP better then APC then you are still far from realizing what's wrong with the country. I used this election to point out to everyone that lack of education is the root cause of the problems we have in this nation because a president who lacks knowledge and health can never be elected in a country filled with educated citizens.

What can sowore and moghalu do , if not only to be importing rubbish , is that how to make nigeria work ,buhari stil remain the best
olumide4christ:

Nigeria is 1000 years behind according to you, not because of any other thing, but its people and their mentality.
How will a people have candidates like Moghalu, Donald Duke, Sowore, etc on the ballot & then decide that Atiku or Buhari with their baggages is the best option for them, simply because they feel that the Moghalus & co don't have political structure, experience & money to prosecute election?
In the USA you're referring to, why did they vote a Donald Trump who had never been in politics before? What political structure did he have?
SUMMARY - Nigeria is behind because of its people, you & me, don't blame any leader(s). Our kind of leaders are representative of who we are!

I hear there is a bill in the works, I agree its easier to rig but we need to give it a try. In the past we thought nothing other than option A4 will work
Personally, I'd second electronic voting any day. I had the issue of going back to where I got my PVC before voting. I think in the age of technology, voting any where should be a considered option.

But looking at it again, our democratic process isn't matured yet. Our politicians are less civilized when it comes to election matters. The disadvantages are more than manual voting. Yet, if the bill is passed, we probably could try it alongside what we already have on ground during the grassroot elections.

This election has proven that the problem with Nigeria is not mainly caused by bad leaders as people always say, but a massive lack of education as the root cause. Every educated person knows that Buhari lacks the knowledge and health fittness to rule a country. But amazingly he is getting a second term. This can only happen when the masses are not educated. Atiku was winning the polls on social media because those who participated in the polls were the more educated Nigerians. Even though Atiku is not the best choice but he is better than Buhari and had the best chance to remove Buhari than the other candidates.

Lack of education is the biggest issue in this country and this country will never go anywhere as long as it remains like that. If Buhari can be reelected then it means rouges like Tinubu and Ameachi can also win an election in Nigeria as long as the masses are this uneducated. I have lost hope in this country.
fortunately dere are lots of embassy yhu can walk in
