Personally, I don't get why some people see marriage as an achievement. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not saying I don't want to get married but making it a priority so that it's all you ever think of , like a big project sort of seems incomprehensible. So what do you think? Do you think it's an achievement?if so why? |

If you’ve sustained your marriage for 10 years plus, I can call that an achievement because it’s not easy waking up to the same person every day of your life, it takes a lot of sacrifice, dedication and hard work to get there. But getting married alone, to me it’s just a phase in someone’s life, but each to their own. People look at it differently. 1 Like |

whatever you desire to attain and you finally attain it is an achievement so if marriage is your greatest wish then it's an achievement to you. but to me everyday one stays married is the achievement cos loads of married couple cant do that. |

Humans are non-committal. That's our nature. I therefore wouldn't subject myself to any committed relationship whatsoever. Fvck societal norms and social correctness. Why would I want to lock myself down with one person for like, ever? I mean, we are only trying to create something that doesn't work 90% of the time. Divorces everywhere, marital violence, abuse, cheating etc. I can't be a part of that, never! |
