A lout organising peace meeting, it's one of the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. It is only sharing of money that can make people from different tribes of Nigeria united like this.

"It is only sharing of money that can make people from different tribes of Nigeria united like this"

Bingo! You can be very right about that. It's fact! Money has a way of uniting the Nigerian tribes. When national cake is involved, you see the unexpected happening; Igbo will romance Fulani, Yoruba n Igbo will remember they are Southern cousins and brothers. Hausa will tell Yoruba to marry their daughter. Hausa and Fulani plus Igbo n Yoruba will remind you God and Allah are one and suddenly remember to preach love! Money is honey!!

I don't support violence against any tribe however I will advice the Igbos to stop their hate speech towards other tribes.

You can't insult people in their own land and expect them not to react
Nobody from other part of the Country can insult Igbos in Abia and go scot free

So what are u doing now?? Funny enuf the hate speech have been coming from you people.

And which insult are u talking about. Say wat you know please.

You talking about hate speech, now see what you fellow Afonja was saying. This Hatred will not take u people anywhere. your claiming not to be a tribal bigot but you are 100%

Good one Oluomo. This is a quality of a good leader. I can't see why Yoruba can't accommodate their southern brothers. You hardly see such a thing happene in the south eastern or south south. Buth Oluomo, has that quality to see things beyond ethnicity.

Aren't you funny?

Why a whole chunk of you cannot get this, is exactly why I'm baffled

Hmmm. Past years has shown that yarubas accommodate visitors more than the Hausas, and we have been living peacefully. Now if things should get out of hand or yorubas started acting like hausas, it'll be a very bad situation for igbos because they have most visitors in other people's land. So if mc that you called tout is doing this, it simply for your own benefit. We are all Nigeria truly but each tribe deserve there respect no matter what. Igbos should learn how to respect other tribes especially knowing fully well that they are everywhere. You all talking online are only talking on your perspectives. You need to know how some igbos see yorubas and hausas. My own be sey if yorubas should start wahala with igbos, it means they'll have no where to run to oooo. Oluomo, even though I don't really like your ways, I like this move so much.

I hate anything ethnic conflict but Igbo need to redefine their involvement in Lagos politics to avoid impending doom. You remember Lagoon statement by Oba Eko in 2015. Igbo primary objective in Lagos is to do business and not to determine or influence who rule Lagos. This is my advice and personal opinion.
Igbos do their businesses and pay tax to lagos govt yet you think its not proper they have a say on who rules them? Many Igbos have contributed more to the development of lagos than some yorubas

the yorubas have this "sense of entitlement" mentality....Lagos isn't the only city where Igbo's and yorubad are mixed.....I know some areas in Enugu, Aba, Onitsha....especially Aba and Onitsha that have high Yoruba population, nobody is bullying them to vote anyone. in my child's sch, they were chanting atiku/obi prior to presidential elections because it was Christian and Igbo dominated, but a Muslim girl was tearing the fliers used and was instead shouting "sai baba".... nobody touched her and they laughed over it....the question is....can an Igbo child do same in a Muslim/northern/Yoruba dominated sch where they are shouting "sai baba"?? he will be intimidated, bullied and the society will blame him for having such guts.... if yorubas think they have the number to vote APC in governor election, why should they be bothered on the Igbo minority number in Lagos let peace reign, leave everyone to his conscience

Eku ile eyin eyinmi

I greet you all.

I will like to mention that the issue of Lagos is a serious case that every single Yoruba should pay attention to. How can a group of people migrate to your ancestral land and call you ancestral land a "no man's land" and you smile with them. Please let me ask you a question, If you do not have a heritage where do you come from ? I mean right before your nose, strangers are claiming your homes and calling it a no man's land. I mean how do you introduce yourself to your children.

Kids ::::: Daddy where are we from ?

Father ::::: Kids your ancestral home and that of your fore fathers is no man's land Lagos

Kids :::::::: Why are we from No man's land but Emeka claims he from Enugu.

Father :::::: Well Emeka is from Enugu because he's father and those people him have homes and villages they can be traced but you are a lagosian, no village nothing; you are a vagabond with no history because Lagos is a no man's land

Kids:::::::Ok at least if I go to Enugu I can be elected there or even be a king there.

Father ::::::: Well if you try it is possible

Kids go to Enugu and try to be elected after suffering and investing

Enugu People ::::::: Ndi Yoruba you can never be king or elected here. Your father Awolowo betrayed us

Kids come back home

Now if you are a yoruba man and a Lagosian Awori/Ijebu/Egba and Egun and you smile without cutting the head of the person that says your land is a no man's land, then you are an illiterate.

Forget your education. If the White Americans know their land and Australians still trace their root but yours is "No man's land" then sorry to say but you are a fool.

If you cannot protect your heritage and think being educated means being a fool then I am sorry we are not all fools.

A good example is the House of representative woman in Ajeromi-Ifelodun Rita Odichi Orji was born into the family of Late Mr. Festus Akuenyerenwata Chimara and Mrs. Celestina Chimara. She had her early education in Orlu, Imo State, before moving over to Lagos where she made her home until her election to the hallowed chambers.

Rita Orji campaigns in Igbo language and does empowerment in Imo state thereby taking money meant for Lagos empowerment to Imo state.

This is to tell eyin omo oduduwa to wake up and smell the coffee. This is not tribalism; this is us protecting our heritage.

No ethnic group will allow what we allow in Lagos state. Urhobo, Hausas etc don't gloat on us but Igbos do and we should not allow it !!!

Enough is enough

So much hatred and bitterness here.

A lot of Yoruba's have never lived in igbo land and make conclusions about our way of life based on hearsay.

Because of one man's ambition, he has sowed seeds of division among ethnic groups.

Nigeria belongs to us all, I have not seen a Yoruba or Hausa person reject money made from crude oil gotten from the Niger Delta and South east.

Let's not let our leaders use us. We have suffered enough.

Hope you also reject money made from sales of crude oil? We wouldn't have been here if your great hero Awolowo just allowed Igbo's to secede peacefully in the late 60's.

The Unity of Nigeria is non negotiable, you must live with the repercussions.
