Buhari should take those demands and throw them in the trashcan. Buhari shouldn't make any kind of deal with Atiku, the PDP I know will later say Buhari made a deal with them because he was afraid he would lose in court. Buhari beat Atiku black and blue in the field, he will beat him in the courts too. The worst Atiku can do is to form a parallel government and he will tossed into the same cell with dasuki.

Breaking: Atiku presents 6-point demand to Buhari

The Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in last week’s election, Alh. Atiku Abubakar has presented a six-point demand to the federal government . Top on the demand was unfreezing of opposition politicians’ bank accounts.

Another major demanded presented to former Head of State and Chairman of the National Peace Committee, Gen. Abdulsalam Abubakar (rtd) was demilitarisarion of sequent polls. Gen. Abubakar led members of the committee to a meeting with Atiku and his running mate, Mr. Peter Obi in Abuja yesterday night. The NPC was expected to meet President Muhammadu Buhari government with the demands . Other demands by Atiku were:

*That accreditation of voters should take place before voting in subsequent elections.

*That there should be no deployment of the military in subsequent elections.

* That INEC should open its back end server to all participating parties.

*That there should be a release of all politicians detained illegally by FG.

A source at the meeting disclosed that Atiku “warned that tensions are building up in the land.” NPC team included Cardinal John Onaiyekan, Bishop Kukah and Rev. Fr Atta Barkindo of the NPC secretariat.

Atiku and his team informed the group that the election of Feb 23 was the worst in 20 years of the return to democratic rule. That it was marked by brazen rigging with no consideration to the will of the people.

They listed the following as the issues they had with the polls:

*Deployment of the military was unconstitutional and in breach of Supreme Court judgement.

*That resultantly, a lot of malpractices between the INEC officers, the ruling party and the military took place to undermine the votes/voters of the PDP.

*That there was collaboration between INEC and FG to undermine the sanctity of the votes of the people.

*That this is the worst election in 20 years. No improvement from 2015.

It was learnt that Gen. Abdusalam and his team pleaded with the PDP flag bearer to avoid anything that could jeopardise the nation’s peaceful co-existence.

. 1Who are the politicians whose accounts were frozen illegally ? Is it those who stole and shared our money ? It is clear that God is behind Atiku for losing the election. They can never change their conduct with the corruption inspired demands .PMB will not let anybody soil his integrity and his good image.

Let me try to interpret a hausa saying that if a blind man seeks to engage you in a fight just know he has stepped on a stone. For Atiku to have this boldness eh, he has something that may implicate this government.
dunno why I like sharp babes, you are the only that have said something today, your thinking capacity is great...keep it up cos I was thinking in that line .

There is one thing am going to tell certain individuals especially some young fellas who haven't seen real life here never tell a man or even a child You can do nothing even a jambite can bring down the number 1 in a major cult group.

The same Buhari, made a statement when GEJ was president, he said he will make the country ungovernable for him and nothing was done about it.........and we know the rest of the story.

The truth is Atiku have the means/resources to cause mayhem/crisis and he will bundle his family and fly away and who will be left behind to suffer the heat...I need not to tell you,you know already .

There is a popular saying " when two elephants fight is the ground that will suffer" who is the ground here......

I just pity some people who don't even have resources to transport themselves to common togo here ranting like kids...think think think and make plans for your life cos when the chips are down it is the masses that always suffer .

God bless Nigeria.

"unfreeze opposition party members' bank accounts", hmm, when this guy told you he would enrich his friends and cronies at the expense of Nigerian masses, you people never believed him and he still got 11 million votes, you see why he is making these demands now. if he had gotten 1 million votes or less, all this noise would not be happening.

As far as I am concerned, Buhari is not my president because I cannot accept the outcome of
such a rotten and disgraceful process as my president.

The results should have been declared inconclusive in many areas,
given the crimes committed, until INEC gets down to the truth
of the matter, which is that the APC lost in those areas.

It is the loss that caused them to commit all the atrocities
that led to the kind of embarrassingly false results
in which the numbers do not add up,
and which is now embarrassing INEC,
the APC, and Nigeria as a country.

I personally do not accept the product of fraud
and a childish insult on our collective intelligence
as my own president.

As a country, we can do better than inflict upon ourselves the product/outcome
of the horrors and crimes of last Saturday, on ourselves, as our leader.

In any case, the shame both locally and internationally is just too massive to bear.
is not necessary for him to be your president so far the majority accepted him if u are not contended you can go to the other side of the world.

I strongly support Atiku on ds
1). Why on earth did fg freeze the account of the opposition yet refuse to do the same on corrupt ones in APC.
2). Why did INEC operate in a manner that is openly seen as being influenced by the ruling party while the opposition party stronghold are being squeezed by Armed Forces?
3). Anambra state for example and that of south east state is a stronghold of the opposition then how come did card reader disenfranchised 1million people and yet manual accreditation was allowed in north with impunity including underage voting? A day will come when una (APC) go reap the reward of the magic you performed in ds 2019 election. Ndi Ara....

Are members of non-constitutional National Peace Committee trying to be relevant or what? Why are they creating a problem by trying to solve non-existent problem? Why giving Atiku a platform to create false negative narratives about the president? This is unfair and counterproductive.

All of a sudden some persons who lost an election are giving those who won conditions for accepting defeat. Thats a very dangerous precendence for the future. Nothing wey person no go hear for this country!

U idiot, buhari lost 3 elections and innocent people died like flies....abi no b all of us dey d nigeria dey see his lust for blood?

On three occasions Buhari lost similar election but he did not give Obasanjo or Yar"adua any conditions. Rather he went to court. Let Atiku go to court.

The assertion that 'tension is rising in the country' is a figment of imagination of Atiku and his stunned gang. No tension is rising. People have moved on. Heaven will not fall because Atiku lost election. Mrs. Hilary Clinton lost an election and moved on inspite of Russia interference. Why should Atiku's case be different?
