I think it's a bug with the Uber network. Sent them over 10 mails over same issue and they just kept replying same, telling me to repeat same thing over and over again. I stepped into their office once and a customer service guy at the counter there fixed it in a minute. ONE MINUTE!
Something I have been waiting for resolution over the mail for one full week.
So this is what you do, first log into partners.uber.com and check if your profile is active or still onboarding.
You should be able to add your vehicle if it is still onboarding and that's if you have uploaded your vehicle inspection report and it has been accepted.
But if your profile is active already and you cant add vehicle still, kindly visit their office and sort it out.
Hope this helps.

See rainbow of advice above. Car talk we hail thee. 3 roads which one to take cheesy

BEST ROUTE CHOICE FOR UBER DRIVERS!

ROAD 1: If you see the "Dollar Sign Board" proceed with caution, they give warranties and pamper your car but how much does a Uber driver earn!

ROAD 2: If you see the "No Credit Today Sign Board" proceed with caution, this auto-workshops are most unreasonable , don't we uber/taxify drivers provide 7 days credit facility to uber and taxify. (see some of the inequities of life how can we with our little savings, be giving credit facilities to multi-billion dollar companies)

ROAD 3: If you see the "Kobo Sign Board", rejoice and proceed with caution, quick car fix without emptying your pocket, on this Broad road you will find the generation of Kazeemites led by the spirit, offering 6th sense solutions without the aid of diagnostic tools.

Most partners don't care about qualitative maintenance all they want to feel is the vibration of their phone and their 35k weekly credit alert fully on display.

Remember you are just a uber/taxify driver in Nigeria so please choose which road to follow wisely!

Your account has been permanently blocked, to say the truth. There's nothing you can do about it.

Good afternoon folks, please I want to ask when going for Uber training do they test drive my car? Asking so I know if I should go with d car or not.

Also, is the taxify cover compulsory and how much is it?
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by manny656(m): 3:04pm On Mar 01, 2019
After 6 months, you try the test again. For now, nothing. You can of course drive for Taxify

I have had someone that took the test again after several months and passed. But in the case of surviving only with Taxify, I don't know. You can barely make enough with the 2 apps sef. If it's not your car.

You were expected to answer the questions truthfully. Not in anybody's favor. Sorry bro. It was a simple IQ test.

Hello, gurus. Advice needed. Elder bro intends leaving his 90k - a - month job for ehailing. He doesn't know how to drive, nor does he even have a licence. But he is in the process of learning how to drive now. He also got somebody to process his license within 2wks. He does 24hrs on, 24hrs off at work. He plans getting a car on rentals.
Is this a good move?

People doing the uber and taxify business are complaining bitterly, the trip request isn't coming like before again, it is even stressful, you no driving all round lagos city, bad roads, lastma guys, local government boys, cbd officials and the fear of the unknown riders
If he has a 90k job then I don't see the reason he should leave to take a driving job, presently he doesn't no how to drive, I think he should perfect his driving skills b4 venturing into the business
