Chukwu Okike abịama cool

It will only cost d person €20 at the local government in Germany to get SL.
20 EURO is #8,200 (eight thousand two hundred nair)

That is by far less than 100,000 let alone 1,000,000.
Let's assume inconveniences, time wastage and all that will cost 80,000 more and its still less than 100k.
Hmmmmmmmmm.. you've made some cogent points tho.

But SL is kinda difficult to give out to someone who you don't really know. If person go fuk up for there, the sponsor is in trouble.
Maybe that's why folks over there charge as high as €2000-2500 to get us SL. But I don't see it as a verifiable reason for a x10 increment in the normal price.

That's a kind heart. I'm sure someone would find that very useful. Thank you.

I'm a prospective student of Bochum, winter'19 for MSc Biochemistry. Waiting patiently for application to open.

Apparently, the 18 months depends on your state and even if you don't get a job you can be self employed and employ a German. This guy on youtube Menspro888: he's indian tho but that's what he did

So the 18 months working visa is not sure and its according to your state, please am confused about procedure of staying back and working in Germany

Let me explain something to you about SL before you begin to hate your Uncles and Aunts for no reason. SL is not like Birth certificate you just walk into the Local government office to collect and pay a little sum as it looks to you, it is actually a proof of sufficiency from who wants to bring the SL, that he is able to pay you 715€ from his income and still go about his normal expenditures. So to get a SL, the person has to prove that he makes at least 2500€ after tax before he can be granted, and you and i know that the person charging you 1 million does not. so he/she somehow has to come up with documents that shows he makes that much and also pays tax on that income. So think very well before you give someone your 1million if he can deliver what you ask of him. PS. I dont give SL

Please guys with due respect how easy or hard is it to remain in germany after your masters to start proper work ...we need talk this one small too...our informed bosses please help us

The truthful answer is, your chances of being in Germany after your school depends heavily on your German Language skill. If you can speak well, you will get a good Job that will give you what you want (holding the following factors constant: political, immigration policy, etc.} My personal opinion, drop everything you are doing and learn the language with all your strength, but if you choose to do it when you arrive here, then you will pay about 200k to learn A1.

Why are people being encouraged to buy SL from trusworthy individuals?. This will not be good on the long run.

Yea, I know it's hard for some people to raise the blocked account money....

Even on the short run..its not advisable to buy SL.. Its preferable when given freely by someone you know(like a relative or something)

Having a good knowledge of the German language prior to graduation is important although most international companies in Germany (e.g. Siemens, BASF, German Aerospace Centre [DLR] etc.) are more than willing to hire young foreign graduates who speak English and have limited German language skill upon graduation. On the long run, one is expected to learn German over time if he/she wants to work and live in Germany. The main challenge in landing a job after studies is skill-related. Imagine having a skill that is on-demand yet rare to find (e.g. programming with Python, C++, Java or being a specialist in MATLAB, AutoCAD, PDMS etc.), everytime you submit a CV, I can guarantee you that you will be given an opportunity for an interview in English. So my advice to those coming to study in Germany will be to focus on STEM-related courses and DO ALL YOU CAN to master a software skill (either in Nigeria or in Germany via internships or HiWis). I hope this was helpful.

Like my friends in Germany would say: you have two options to get a good job that is paying well, I mean really really well..

1. Learn the language; or
2. Get yourself groomed in any ICT Programming languages. (this is like making oil money in Nigeria )

The rest is history.

Viel Glück

It's eating deep into me, I really need to move out of this country this year

You don't have to be a computer science grad before you have a knowledge in any of the programming languages.
