I expected buhari to win oyo with at least 200k margin and ondo narrowly but he ended up losing both.the south west states i thought buhari would lose is osun.i wonder what went wrong.residents of those two states should please clear my doubts.

The oyo Governor caused it. People dont like the man.

You can't fight against your party and expect to come out unscathed.
Imagine telling your supporters to vote for another party in the Senate slip. Most people do same thumbprint in all 3, sharp sharp thing instead of stressing themselves to look for different parties to vote for.

Actually,there was little or no rigging in the south west hence the narrowness of the margin same as in north central.only in the ss,se and core north where we have massive rigging.

Play fair for where. There was a big gang up against him. It was in his senatorial District buhari lost heavily.
If APC had presented someone else it would have been a clear win for the person and buhari.
There is this belief that any election conducted on the same day always follow the same pattern
even teslim folarin that is almost dead politically won his senatorial District for buhari and all the rep that contested under his district won.
All the candidates that run for rep seat under Ajimobi lost to PDP candidates like their master.

Ogun case is different.
APM worked assiduously to all angles for APC plus the fact that APC has been on ground for over 8 years through Amosun as governor unlike Ondo where APC just came in a few years ago.
PDP and LP has been the grassroot party in that state.

but he lost his senatorial district compared to his apc colleagues..it shows a lot of people would have voted for pdp there also.

southeast votes were actually stiffled,..using the card reader as excuse..while northern states having gotten weary of ballot thumbing,just outrightly wrote out figures..

I dont think so.south east do not vote,the 2015 and 2019 polls simply exposed your true voting strength and turnout.the north are known to always come out for polls.yobe results has been consistent since 1999 plus their love for buhari propelled them to turnout.borno have always polled over a million votes with the exception of 2015.even though there were rigging,it wasn't much and cant alter the final results.intact,there was more rigging in anambra and enugu.

His senatorial zone has always been divided,the ifes are for pdp while ijeshas mostly apc.apc usually wins narrowly here.anyway,he fumbled.

You are looking for consolation theories to cool you down.atiku was even lucky to win adamawa,ondo,oyo,taraba,benue,edo.most of you dont know how rigging works.it works where you are dominant and popular.whether apc rigs in the core north or not,they would still win.same for pdp in ss,se.the only thing both parties did was to shore up figures in their strongholds.

From notable people in Ibadan. The guy really ruffled many feathers and people waited patiently for him on that day.
He's even making his party governorship candidate unmarketable for APC fans like me.
Ajimobi lacks character and has practically driven notable politicians away from that party.
