Which course are you intending to study?

computer science related course or business related course

Search and get the schools, email them and ask them if they accept letter of proficiency in English language from your school, if it's not stated clearly in their *Requirements.*

They will definitely reply you.

But please forget it if it's Rhine Waal University of Applied Sciences because they don't believe that we sabi English. So u must get TOEFL or IELTS for them.

What of people who are trained in courses like ccna server and cloud computing?
devmantic:

Having a good knowledge of the German language prior to graduation is important although most international companies in Germany (e.g. Siemens, BASF, German Aerospace Centre [DLR] etc.) are more than willing to hire young foreign graduates who speak English and have limited German language skill upon graduation. On the long run, one is expected to learn German over time if he/she wants to work and live in Germany. The main challenge in landing a job after studies is skill-related. Imagine having a skill that is on-demand yet rare to find (e.g. programming with Python, C++, Java or being a specialist in MATLAB, AutoCAD, PDMS etc.), everytime you submit a CV, I can guarantee you that you will be given an opportunity for an interview in English. So my advice to those coming to study in Germany will be to focus on STEM-related courses and DO ALL YOU CAN to master a software skill (either in Nigeria or in Germany via internships or HiWis). I hope this was helpful.

From the way am seeing things most guys here are going to Germany with the idea of finishing masters and starting work over there but from the few comments some guys dropped it will be difficult because most of us are going for different courses and it seems that the demand there is computer related which means more than 50% of people doing masters there in other courses must come back and hustle Npower again grin unlike canada that I think you can stay back ...God help us Education is barely appreciated in Nigeria

I heard that as a student schooling in Germany or a graduate from Germany, that you can travel to any Schengen Country VISA free....(Pls type SCHENGEN COUNTRIES on Google)

If that is true, that means migrating to another country would be easier and better for those that feel that they don't know German too well nor have all the things necessary to getting them quick and lucrative jobs in DE upon graduation.

I'm still researching more on this anyways....

Stay Blessed.

Bro, I think it's not too early to schedule your appointment for interview. If you already have your BA or SL or Scholarship, go ahead and book appointment.
The earlier the better. You can begin to make arrangement for other things you'll need too, like accommodation

As much as admission is important, I believe securing a means of sustenance is more important most especially when you've got an excellent result. Talking from experience
DemigodZeus147:

Get the admission first.

Make use of the mailing system, they would look at your enrolment deadline and give you a date. I applied in March and got May, cancelled and applied again and got June. So it doesn't matter they would give you an appropriate date
NB
Attach your admission letter, bank opening ....Sorry I can't remember check their website.

You just spoke my mind
Honestly before starting this process..the first and most important thing to secure is means of sustenance.. Admission I believe is easy to get so far u know what you are doing...

Npower fire grin grin
YEA much emphasis has been made on this ICT stuff which leaves other students studying a different course think they have no place after graduation but that's not the case Germany the much I know is highly industrialized and skills are in high demand so any other thing you can do and finish well apart from ICT will still keep you going.. The central idea is that you've Gat to Hustle for skills within your course or outside JUST HAVE SOMETHING GOOD TO OFFER

You might get admitted with the statement of result... But you would need present the certificate when registering in the school after getting admitted

Learning their language is not impossible within 2years .
Me sef wey never get admission has known some basic words and can even make some simple statements in Deutsch.
Auf Wiedersehen, wie geht's gut, gern geschehen, bitte, danke, Apfel, leider, bis später, bis bald etc.
Wasser, Milch, Frauen, Männer.
If you dedicate time to the language, you will learn the basic things before 3years

Thanks for the response bro... What if after the interview, your Am drops and you are asked to choose your travel date. Would you choose some months before the winter programme begins?

Good morning good people. i am a propective stutdent that would like to study in Germany but I am having a problem which I dont knlw how to go about yet.

I have 2 different middle names on my document. i.e my Waec cert states Popoola Shakiru Asamu, my first degree cert states Popoola Shakir but my Transcript has an initial A added to it , while my Passport states Popoola Shakir Olabisi.
pls, what can I do to rectify or proof that all documents belong to me and is there any chances of getting a Visa?

If you are from IMO State bro, Rochas would have given you the Commissioner For Names and Changing of Names.

Shakir
Shakiru
Olabisi
Asamu
Only you?
And only Popoola is constant.

Anyways, senior men in the house will attend to you.
