Learning their language is not impossible within 2years .
Me sef wey never get admission has known some basic words and can even make some simple statements in Deutsch.
Auf Wiedersehen, wie geht's gut, gern geschehen, bitte, danke, Apfel, leider, bis später, bis bald etc.
Wasser, Milch, Frauen, Männer.
If you dedicate time to the language, you will learn the basic things before 3years

It's possible within 9 months (from my experience). That's if it's intensive though...

Having a good knowledge of the German language prior to graduation is important although most international companies in Germany (e.g. Siemens, BASF, German Aerospace Centre [DLR] etc.) are more than willing to hire young foreign graduates who speak English and have limited German language skill upon graduation. On the long run, one is expected to learn German over time if he/she wants to work and live in Germany. The main challenge in landing a job after studies is skill-related. Imagine having a skill that is on-demand yet rare to find (e.g. programming with Python, C++, Java or being a specialist in MATLAB, AutoCAD, PDMS etc.), everytime you submit a CV, I can guarantee you that you will be given an opportunity for an interview in English. So my advice to those coming to study in Germany will be to focus on STEM-related courses and DO ALL YOU CAN to master a software skill (either in Nigeria or in Germany via internships or HiWis). I hope this was helpful.

Hello , Thanks for your insightful post.

Regarding the ICT software skills, which are in more demand, as ICT is so broad?

Web development
App development
Networking
Cloud computing
Cyber security
AWS skills
SAP ERP
Graphics
Data science
Artificial intelligence
Machine learning

Anyone you learn is a goal.

Besides, you don't have to start with a very cumbersome programming language that will take you years to know. You can start with Database Management. This will only take you months to know, before you know it, you have a skill in the bag already. Most people don't seems to pay attention to this skill and the demand is hot and it is paying really well.

From the way am seeing things most guys here are going to Germany with the idea of finishing masters and starting work over there but from the few comments some guys dropped it will be difficult because most of us are going for different courses and it seems that the demand there is computer related which means more than 50% of people doing masters there in other courses must come back and hustle Npower again grin unlike canada that I think you can stay back ...God help us Education is barely appreciated in Nigeria

Your write up shows you haven't done your homework well. Germany to me have jobs for everybody, I mean more than enough, irrespective of your class. And you will certainly get a job in your field, but let some skills stand you OUT. Most companies don't care if you speak German, all they care about is how you can deal with the task given to you. And if it is the language skill that is standing you out, let the knowledge be STRONG.

You wait till the embassy start giving out dates for winter semester. Summer semester interview is still on...

Good morning. I believe your most official name should be the one on your passport.
What you need to do is approach a court for an affidavit stating that you (Use the name on your passport) bear all these name variants.
The court knows how they'll structure it for you.

Thanks for the response bro... What if after the interview, your Am drops and you are asked to choose your travel date. Would you choose some months before the winter programme begins?
Perhaps the senior colleagues who have travelled can shed more light on this

Believe me, The best place you'll get an answer to this question is a mail sent by the course coordinator of the school he/she is applying to.

Chukwu Okike abịama cool

It will only cost d person €20 at the local government in Germany to get SL.
20 EURO is #8,200 (eight thousand two hundred nair)

That is by far less than 100,000 let alone 1,000,000.
Let's assume inconveniences, time wastage and all that will cost 80,000 more and its still less than 100k.

Lol......... Una just dey make me laugh, please bro there is no time to waste help him get an SL for N8,200 or N80,000 atleast we are also here to assist each other in every possible way we can

It's okay if all your school application are Uniassist based but if you have some schools to apply to directly you might as well check exclusively for their certification guidelines Coz some schools request for embassy certification only
Bless up

You've to swear an affidavit in court to uphold your real name or rather the most correct combo of your name cheesy

MySQL or ORACLE Syntax is perfect for a start.

My take though.
