Barcelona Star Lionel Messi squared up to Sergio Ramos after the Real Madrid captain appeared to elbow him.

The Spaniard left his leg out to purposely trip Messi early in the first half.

He then went to ground himself pretending to be injured in an attempt to escape the referee’s sanctions.

But he was at it again moments later, leaving an elbow in the face of Messi who collapsed to the ground.

When Ramos went to check on the forward, the Barcelona star saw red.

Messi got in the face of Ramos as the pair went head to head.

He was clearly letting his feeling be known, likely to be that he felt Ramos knew what he was doing.
