Bifrost:

Your aggregate is 307.5, this is not close to the cut off mark. Where is the 'unn ain't transparent at all?"

If you applied to UI or unilag, believe me you won't still get in with such score.

You're welcome.

By the way, I'm from the Eastern part of the country, not within Catchment, not within ELDS. Purely on merit and it worked without man-know-man; Most of my colleagues I've had a chat with, too. So, I think the bribery thing is similar to every "Nigeria" school you hold at high esteem. They adhere to the published cut off marks, and theirs is unique in my opinion.
please am from Edo state, wat are my chances in Unical to study medicine?

Edo falls under Catchment; obviously, your chances are better than anyone from South East.

Sorry about that...I think the only missing link in Unilorin is a transparent admission process

Yes, ABU. I was admitted on merit, without knowing anyone and I know many people that made it without knowing anyone.

... But deep down me i would have suggest the unique university of Port Harcourt(uniport), for various reasons, as that(based on my judgement) is The only school in Nigeria that confirms To the qualifications of Cheap, Easy to enter, Good facilities, merit Admission, and above all UNIQUE in her own way...

Sorry to disturb again cheesy but please do you have her past PUTME questions.

I thought you are an Abusite... (1) Catchment is just an advantage not an admission guarantee. Many competitors from your state might have scored higher. (2) You should have known that Ssce result is not a standard by which admission is given in Abu. Just have the minimum requirements.... Your inability to secure admission in Abu only give us the clearer view of the proven fact that Abu just like UI,OAU,UNILAG,UNN is a no second class university... It is highly competitive

Yeah, I'm an Abusite all right. Doesn't stop me fr pointing out things like this. I do know how ABU admission works. 305 as an average is definitely not too low to be considered for admission. And that was just the specific example. I personally know of 4 others with average over 300 not admitted too. Competition is high, sure. But if not the applied course, not getting considered at all is something else. I got admitted back then through remedials. Applied for MBBS, my course was changed despite attaining maximum cgpa of 5.0. Now what do we say bout that. Well, all is well sha.

Bro let me just tell you the trick that worked for me and my friend.
Do you know that 280 will get u medsurg in unimaid on merit?
If you still don't want to take chances, pick unimaid as first choice then pick any state that is among ELDS in ur geopolitical zone as state of origin. Hit 270+ in jamb and voom..... U will see urself in unimaid admission list. My friend from Enugu got pharmacy at unimaid last year with just 251. He choosed unimaid cos he is tired of how competitive all federal schools in South is and none of them can even give him common anatomy with 250+. So he took a bold step and picked unimaid. His name came out in the last bath and they still gave him pharmacy.
Sir mind sharing ur facebook id..i rilly need to clarify things about unimaid..am thinking of changing to unimaid..how secured is the school, how fecible is it for someone from the east(anambra)..need an urgent reply... thanks

They don't write putme. Ur jamb and O'level result only. So try to score high above 250 then you can get any medical course there or 280 for medsurg.
I am going to the school now with 305. From Osun State but I am still scared
