Sacrifice! For God so loved the world that He sacrificed. For Jesus so loved the Father that He sacrificed. For Jesus so loved His sheep that He sacrificed. For the disciples of Jesus so loved their Master that they sacrificed. However a lot of people would beg to differ, as they instead view gifts as a proof of love, and hence when someone gets them a gift, you'd hear them say 'oh this person really loves me' just because of a gift that that person gave to them. But then they are often disappointed to find out that after receiving such gifts, maybe after the person have gotten what he wanted, the same person that gave them such gifts, which they saw as a proof of love, now begins to trash them, or treat them with little or no respect, and hence as if they are of no value to him. The reason for that is the truth that a gift is not a proof of love, that's the only explanation as to why someone who gives another a gift, could yet treat the same person with so much disrespect or disdain despite giving them a gift. For instance, if a man has a billion naira of raw cash, and gives a lady just a hundred thousand, or even a million, is that enough to be considered as a proof of his love? But it is when it begins to get closer to the total amount of what he has, say half of it, or even the full amount, that's the one billion naira he has, that's when you can now begin to talk about it being a proof of love, being it is now transcended beyond the level of a gift, and gotten to that of a sacrifice. And hence it would be almost impossible for such a man, who after sacrificing so much for a lady as such, to begin to treat the same lady as as though she has no value. Because he has Invested so much, possibly everything he had Into her, hence that extent of investment(sacrifice) on her would reflect in the way he treats her. A lot of people of today's church claim they love God, and sing all the beautiful love songs to Him in this respect, but then when it comes for them to show the proof of their said love for God, all they usually have to show for it are just gifts. Hence in spite of their expressions of love for God as such, their actions and decisions proves exactly the otherwise, even that their love for God does not exceed beyond the words of their mouths and lips. For the extent of what they have given or committed to God, is a true reflection of the value they have placed on Him, therefore since they've only given to Him out of their abundance and what more or less costs them nothing, that reflects in their attitude towards Him, as hence proves the virtually nonexistent extent of their love for Him. And one other thing that distinguishes the likes of us from most of those today's church, apart from the sacrifices we've made at the level of our walk with God, is the extent of honesty in that respect. For I can remember once, even after I had assumed walk at this level of the Spirit, when after a while I had begun to have doubts about my love for God, which prompted me to ask myself the question, do I really love God? But it when I was able to see the sacrifices that I had made on His behalf, that proved to me beyond any doubt that I truly loved God, that if I said I didn't love God, I would be telling a lie. For the proof of love doesn't lie, for instance all Jesus has to do is to show His pierced hands, and pierced sides, and hence let His sacrifice speak for itself, and thereby prove that He truly loved His Father, and His sheep. So where is the proof of your love? |

EmperorHarry:Feel sad for the fact my posting on my own thread has been a strategy of mine that reversed the tide of the extent of Satan zombism in Nairaland, both in the respect of satanism and atheism, that it has yielded at least a confirmed of a Nairaland atheist that turned to Jesus, and likely more unconfirmed cases Lol! For before my coming here the reverse was the case, and i doubt you would have felt sorry the satanists who kept doing same here and made the religion section to seem like a satanism section, until the explosion came in the form of a jesusjnr and the rest as they say is history. So feel sorry for the fact that the days of atheism an aspect of Satan zombism in nairaland are hence numbered, and that the works of Satan your master would keep the feeling the devastating effect of my continual posting on my threads. EmperorHarry:It's impossible to be neither here nor there, for you are definitely somewhere, either under God zombism or Satan zombism. But I think I was correct to assume you a satan zombie, especially deducing from your first comment, for it had all the trappings of Satan zombism. So if i'm wrong and you are not a Satan zombie then you are a God zombie but the chances of that are slim from your comments thus far. But the only chance that you may have is that even if you do not believe that God exists, you are not wicked but righteous as He desires men to be, for He had shown Himself to be a respecter of righteousness, so if you have it might just come in handy when your time of reckoning comes. As for how God came into existence, Lol! Do you mean that is what has made you to doubt if He existed?C'mon don't do that to yourself, for that is a baseless reason not to believe in God's existence, otherwise you would also doubt the earth's existence because you do not know how it also came into existence. But you yet believe the earth exists don't you? Of course you would say that you have proof of the earth's existence, so that should suffice for you to believe it exists. But do you believe mars exists also? If yes, how do you come to that belief? Did you know how it came into existence, or have you ever been to mars before, felt it with your hands and seen it with your own very eyes to come to that belief? But you believed the testimony of those who claim to have evidence to prove it's existence. Right? Of course perhaps they had to show you some of such evidences for you to believe, but then how about Jupiter, mercury, Saturn and the of the planets that they also said existed, but none of their rockets have been able to touch down on as they have successfully done in mars, do you also believe that they exist regardless? If yes, how did you come to that belief without knowing how they came into existence, or even without the extent of evidence of their existence, as that which made you believe in the existence of mars? If we keep going at this rate you'd eventually see that you also needed some extent of faith to be able to believe in the existence of certain things, as even though you didn't know how they came into existence, or had tangible evidence to prove their existence, you yet believed they exist because you felt you had gotten enough reason for you to do so. So brother you want to tell me that you have not gotten enough reason to also believe that God exists, or you want to apply a different criteria because it's now in God's respect? The truth is that God exists whether you ever believe or not that He does, for just His Creation is enough evidence to prove His existence and enough reason to believe that He exists. And at some point you would eventually get proof of His existence, but it's up to you to determine if you need to wait for that proof or not for you to believe in Him. But something you must know is that those who do not wait to see such proof to believe are better than those who do, as Jesus Himself said: "...Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. John 20:29 (KJV) So it's you that would ultimately decide which category of believers you fall into, for all men would eventually get to "see" this Truth. But the greatest problem is that most get to believe when it's already too late. |

Now I'm not interested in the existence of God.For all I know he may or may not exist.Now same goes to science that says nucleosynthesis occurred after the big bang and the rest is history.But there still seems to be the undefined part of this theory.How did the universe exist before the big bang?.Now that's a level 2 question that the human brain seems to be unable to process.It's like trying to imagine nothingness.There's no way your brain can process it so it creates something your mind can process."Pitch black".But in truth it takes a level 2 being to process what's above it.So in truth if God does exist then he's the only one that can explain how he came into existence. So this thing we call life from my own point of view is more complicated than the Creator or the big bang theories. And it's essence is one thing that's been neglected for ages(Just do your part to ensure continuity).
